We were running a little late and got a courtesy call from the office around 4:45 asking what time we were expected to arrive (since the office closes at 5), they said no worries and made arrangements to leave a key for us providing very good instructions on where to go when arriving. With the key they also left a... More

great experience overall, but you couldn't go many places. basically you could only go into your room and some parts outside. not at all what I thought it would be. great staff though!! here's my little story: the staff told us "you will know if the ghosts like you as soon as you walk in that door." well I fell... I planned a "girl trip" for 6 in March; and we stayed at The Myrtles in the Coco House. It was great and fun and perfect for a group! Then my husband and I came back in April to stay in "the big house," and that was good, but I was less impressed. Overall, I would return to the Myrtles,... More

As a paranormal enthusiast of many years, Myrtles Plantation has been on my bucket list. Had the opportunity to make the trip and, while it certainly is nice, it isn't at all what I had imagined for ambience. It's very touristy. We had the Caretaker's Quarters. Upon check in we were asked by several staff where we were staying and... More

I remember seeing this plantation on TV on those Halloween Specials growing up and it was great to finally go visit it.The plantation itself is so beautiful and oozes Antebellum splendor. The staff was super friendly and I ended up having the whole place to myself. It was spooky and I even made it a topic on my travel blog,www.jjgiron8.org... More

I was excited to stay here and see if I could make if the entire night. We stayed in the General Bradford Suite and it was right on the porch where all of the guest congregate. First, the room was beautiful but the bed was AWFUL. I have slept in luxury hotels, run down crackhead motels, and on sides of... More

What a great experience! Everyone was so friendly. It was like stepping back in time. We heard loud footsteps during the night and even caught a spooky picture on the porch outside our room. I'm already planning our next visit

My boyfriend, my little brother (11yo), and myself took the 8pm haunted tour. I was kind of concerened that it would be to scary for him but it wasnt at all. Our tour guide was great. I remember learning about this plantation 15 years ago, finally getting to enjoy it was a pleasure. Visit the awesome gift shop.

Stayed here with 2 other's in the Caretaker's Quarters. Cute Cute!! Double bed and bunk beds fit nicely in the 1 room. Bath with shower was a bit worn, but working. We had an amazing time walking around the place. Dined in St Francisville. No ghosts we found, but did see a bigfoot print out by our cabin. Lite breakfast... More

Came here with some friends looking for a good haunt and our guide Lisa was simply amazing. Informative, funny, personable and as charming as the plantation itself. If you are looking for a good tour of the tradition that Louisiana is famous for, come down and get Lisa to show you around!
