We stayed in the Camilia room for two days. It did not have a shower, one small light in the bathroom, uncomfortable bed and not worth the money. Food at restaurant was good. We did have two experiences with the unseen entities at the plantation. Early one night and once late in the night while walking around and sitting on... More

We were very impressed by this georgous home and it's beautiful grounds. The staff was all very friendly and were so helpful to our group. They were happy to answer questions and made sure that we enjoyed our time visiting the home. This house has a unique history and is worth a visit!

We planned a last minute trip to Myrtles Plantation. It was the most adorable place. The grounds are beautiful. We stayed in one of the garden rooms and thought it was nice. We arrived late, and the staff was nice enough to leave us our key, a walking the grounds map and a list of local restaurants that were open... More

We visited for the first time and took the 6:00 p.m. tour. I had my shirt sleeve tugged three times by what felt like a child. Wasn't creeped out or scared and didn't have bad vibes. After the tour, my wife and I took pictures of the beautiful grounds and house. We looked at the pictures later during dinner and... More

The plantation itself is beautiful, the grounds are lovely and it absolutely has great potential. We were excited when we drove onto the property and saw all the loveliness, looking forward to a romantic stay. That quickly changed when we came into the room. We had booked a room through their website, figuring that $130 would pay for a nice,... More

My Aunt and I were very impressed by our visit to The Myrtles! All the staff that we encountered during our daytime tour were friendly and welcoming, and the grounds were beautifully kept. We arrived on a dreary day, but it only allowed a spookier experience to our time there. Lisa, our tour guide, was absolutely fabulous - funny and... More

First off, the grounds and the house were absolutely beautiful. The live oak trees were huge and had ferns growing on them. We were so excited to take the tour as we are all really into the whole ghost hunting experience. Yours are every hour on the hour and we just so happened to be the only group on our... More

On a recent trip to New Orleans, my husband and I decided to drive out to St. Francisville and check out The Myrtles. My husband is really into paranormal stuff and this place is a well known haunted location, so we figured we would drive out and take the tour. When we arrived, he talked me into spending the night.... More
