The Myrtles Plantation is an excellent destination for a peaceful weekend away form the rigors of society. Although the “Haunted,” moniker is well publicized, I was not blessed with the presence of any specters or ghosts. Regardless, the stay was like traveling back in time and was one of the most enjoyable B&B overnights I’ve ever enjoyed. I will return... More

The caretaker at Myrtles told us the most awesome stories. Not only was he helpful, but he was a real pleasure and made our trip fun. The mystery tour was interesting as well. The Carriage House has awesome seafood!

The staff was very friendly, informative, and genuine. The accommodations were as published with a historical feel and a very peaceful atmosphere...even with the haunted overtone. My wife was ecstatic that she caught some orbs in her photographs during the night.

The staff was kind and warming. It was the prefect Southern Hospitality. The breakfast was a typical Southern style breakfast. Kane was wonderful to talk with and his stories made the trip more exciting. Didn't have no ghostly experience, but it was a wonderful stay. Must come back to visit.

Staying at the myrtles is always a hauntingly good time. There is never a dull moment. Remember to bring a camera and batteries. Take plenty pictures. You may get pictures of orbs and if your lucky a ghost or two.

My daughter and I stayed 2 nights in the John Leake room. Super quiet and peaceful. We didn't have any ghostly experiences, sad to say, but I will definitely be back with high hopes! The staff is awesome, especially Miss Hester and Mr. Kane. The restaurant is superb. I recommend it!

Was disappointed as we paid fee to see only the main floor of mansion. The upstairs is for staying overnight so closed to public unless you've reserved for the night. That's where the haunting is and ghost activity is supposed to take place. Not sure I'd be brave enough to rent a room and stay over. Nothing elaborate about main... More

I am so sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your tour. We work very hard to maintain the plantation home and provide an interesting as well as, elaborate historical tour of both the history of the plantation and the grounds. All of our hauntings are not confined only to the upstairs portion of the home, we've had reports... More

Had a wonderful overnight stay. The onsite restaurant was as good as the reviews we read. Large portions and excellent service. Breakfast provided by the B&B was more than expected. A full breakfast with a chance meeting with the owner. Didn't see any ghosts but would go back just for the hospitality.

The employees were welcoming helpful and very nice. Got to learn some history while being creeped out aswell lol. Ms. Lisa was a awsome night person she showed us the grounds told stories and made the stay better by talking with us and kicking back making us feel like it was our house. She was great.
