With out a doubt we would stay at the Myrtles Plantation again! We stayed in William Winter's room. Beautiful scenery, great complimentary breakfast and a great ghost tour at the end of our stay! This is a ghost hunters dream.

My husband and I decided to take a chance with this place even though reviews were mixed. It was not one of our better choices. There was a person here when we arrived after 5. He saw us pull in and stood at the window of the trailer - the office is a trailer (if i hadn't already been charged... More

Although the Myrtle Plantation rooms show their age, the beds were comfy and the rooms were clean. Service was kind and sweet with staff making us feel very welcomed. We stayed three nights, the first two in the Fanny Williams room and one night in the Judge Clark Woodruff suite. Both were lovely but the Judge's room was exceptional. We... More

We took the tour, but found out that the cost of the tour only provides a tour of lower half of the main house which consisted of 5 rooms and a foyer. You are not allowed to take pictures of anything but the foyer. Brittany, our tour guide did a great job of telling the history of the plantation and... More

Beautiful property with lots of history! I went with 2 friends to tour the house and grounds and we were not disappointed. Also ate lunch at The Carriage House restaurant on site and the food was great.

Stayed one night in the General Bradford suite. Never again. The limited furniture was uncomfortable and broken. The bed was very uncomfortable. There was no phone, Internet or tv. The bathroom was nasty. Very nasty. There are much nicer b&b's around. Truly the only thing going for this place is the haunted mystique of it.

My husband and i recently took a trip to Louisiana and went to Myrtles Plantation. It was during the week we got thete when it opened and Katie was our tour guide. She was a great guide, answered all of my millions of questions and was fun! The house was beautiful. I definitely recommend touring the plantation especially for only... More

If you love old homes with a little spooky adventure this is the place to stay! We stayed the week of Halloween as part of our haunted mini vacay and it was well worth it. Grounds are absolutely beautiful and all the staff is excellent. We felt like we had been taken back in time. Lisa and Hester make you... More

I've been dying to visit (no pun intended) the famed Myrtle's Plantation for years now, and I was finally able to do so this year. I took a brief history tour that, while it was not very long, sure did pack in as much history as possible. The first floor was filled with original items to be viewed and admired.... More
