Beautiful property with lots of history! I went with 2 friends to tour the house and grounds and we were not disappointed. Also ate lunch at The Carriage House restaurant on site and the food was great.

Stayed one night in the General Bradford suite. Never again. The limited furniture was uncomfortable and broken. The bed was very uncomfortable. There was no phone, Internet or tv. The bathroom was nasty. Very nasty. There are much nicer b&b's around. Truly the only thing going for this place is the haunted mystique of it.

My husband and i recently took a trip to Louisiana and went to Myrtles Plantation. It was during the week we got thete when it opened and Katie was our tour guide. She was a great guide, answered all of my millions of questions and was fun! The house was beautiful. I definitely recommend touring the plantation especially for only... More

If you love old homes with a little spooky adventure this is the place to stay! We stayed the week of Halloween as part of our haunted mini vacay and it was well worth it. Grounds are absolutely beautiful and all the staff is excellent. We felt like we had been taken back in time. Lisa and Hester make you... More

I've been dying to visit (no pun intended) the famed Myrtle's Plantation for years now, and I was finally able to do so this year. I took a brief history tour that, while it was not very long, sure did pack in as much history as possible. The first floor was filled with original items to be viewed and admired.... More

The Myrtles was beautiful, well kept and very clean. We wanted a little spooky getaway and we sure did find it here. Great tour and friendly staff. I definitely had a few paranormal experiences that are too detailed to mention. but we loved it and will return. Next time I'm bringing a change of underwear!

My wife and I visited for the mystery tour on a Saturday night. It was great, the tour guides were funny and informative. The stories were interesting and wandering the grounds at night is awesome. We are looking forward to staying over night next chance we get. Don't expect it to be a rigged up spook house. This is history.

The entry into the Myrtles Plantation is gorgeous - the trees, the moss, the original Plantation landscape is breathtaking, it all goes downhill from there. We stayed in the Caretaker's Cottage and we were so disappointed - there was re-construction, due to a fire and the room itself was dirty. The linens, the bedspread and sheets were musty, dusty, and,... More

When visiting Louisiana The Myrtles was my first planned stop. Was beautiful. Took the history tour and did some wandering around outside. All of the staff were very helpful and very pleasant. Unfortunately we were unable to stay overnight here due to time but someday I will! And don't forget to try the pralines from the gift shop. The best... More

My husband and I stayed here recently on a lark, after watching some of the youtube videos, and reading reviews. The plantation house is indeed creepy...especially if old dusty unlevel houses creep you out. We did enjoy the tour by the sweet lady tour guide, though I cannot remember her name. We ate at the carriage house and the food... More
