I really liked the atmosphere inside the house, I felt heat into my body when I was in the living room, and when I went out to the garden, I took many pictures of the trees and the front house and I saw 2 weird things on 2 pictures, I put them on Trip advisor (you have to zoom it... More

Very nice place, quiet gardens. Tour guide was good. Not as amazing as some very famous plantation but a differet kind of visit more relaxing. You can also skip tour if you want and just get a drink on the nice terrasse.

Me and my wife stayed at the Myrtles Plantation last weekend and the experience was a mixed bag. We booked the William Winters room and while the room itself was adequate and actually quite nice, the entire place seemed to be furnished from Vintage Scooby Doo. The wardrobe creaked so loudly when we opened it that we could not help... More

We stayed here one night. The staff is friendly. The beds were lumpy and squeaked horribly. The tour guide was poorly informed. We at at the restaurant, not owned by the same people, and found it average. Meat was well prepared but of poor quality. The breakfast was not prepared on site unless you count heating up items from the... More

Sad to say we didnt get haunted but we had such a fun time. the highlight of... More

Being a native of Louisiana, the Myrtles has always been a "must" on my list. After visiting a few times to experience the tours, history and fabulous dining- it was evident that the only thing left to do was to stay the night in one of "America's most haunted homes". Not sure of what we would experience, a group of... More

So, my fiance surprised me with a random trip to The Myrtles Plantation today and it was FABULOUS! The house was just SO beautiful and the town of St. Francesville is just absolutely amazing! So many beautiful historical homes, cemeteries, and churches! (Not to mention there is no lack of antique shopping!) Anyway, we had PIPER (!) as our tour... More
