The Lake Rosemound Inn is such a gem! From the beautiful surroundings to the comfortable accommodations, you will feel at home the entire time you are there. You will be invited to a scrumptious breakfast with the other guests. The rooms and grounds are impeccably kept. The ice cream parlor is such sweet touch. Come with your significant other, bring... We stayed just one night at the Lake Rosemound Inn on our way to New Orleans but wish we had been able to stay longer. The location is frankly unbeatable as quiet, peaceful places go. The owner is very hospitable, cooks a mean breakfast and is very helpful. He literally got his hands dirty as he fixed one of our... More

I stayed at Lake Rosemound Inn for 4 days. Had a wonderful time with plenty to do and see in the area. It's a beautiful spot and the B&B has great facilities, including pedal boats for the lake, table tennis, pool, and the ice cream parlour. The owner was welcoming and personable - thoroughly recommended!

Celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary here. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable. The breakfast was nice and John the host was very hospitable. I enjoyed reading on the stunning grounds while my husband fished (and caught some bass). We went hiking at Clark Creek (a few miles away), did some antique shopping and had dinner in St. Francisville. Plantation... More

My husband and I enjoyed our 4th anniversary in this wonderful bed and breakfast. We really enjoyed the game room. It was too cold to fish, but still loved the scenery. The fireplace was cozy and the breakfast was delicious. We are looking forward to returning.

Wonderful 31st Anniversay Trip. We had so much fun playing ping pong and pool, fishing, and reading by the fireplace. The breakfast was wonderful. The host is very friendly and makes you feel at home.

Total tranquillity on the shores of Lake Rosemound (a bonus for those who enjoy swimming in the lake). Close to a number of plantations. Host John is very helpful and cooks an amazing breakfast. Comfortable rooms with double jacuzzi. A really relaxing place and good base for visiting numerous places of interest. Just 2 hrs from the airport, it was... More

My husband and I were attending a function in Baton Rouge and wanted to stay out of the city for the weekend. After carefully reviewing many choices via the Internet, I found a lovely Bed and Breakfast I knew my husband would enjoy. Not only was it away from the cities, it had a lake for fishing. That was the... More

The owner was a darling. The rooms were older styled, but were nice enough for a short stay. The breakfast that the owner prepared was very nice. We were served at a small table with the other guests staying at the b&b. They were all friendly, but I still felt awkward trying to harness the energy of my strong willed... More

My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Ms Jeane and staying at the wonderful inn this past weekend. Beautiful grounds, convenient and fun. It was just what we needed to remind us of our commitment to each other. We will never forget the spunky Ms Jeane and our memories of that weekend.
