I was pleased with my stay until it was time to check out. All the staff was polite and the hotle was pretty clean, but housekeeping was rude and I felt like she was trying to rush me out of my room just so she could hurry up and clean the room while she was on that particular floor.

My husband and I have stayed at this Hampton several times. It is so convenient-just across the bridge from Baton Rouge. The rooms are new, clean and quiet. The complimentary breakfast is well-stocked and good. The air conditioners work well and the beds are comfortable. I recommend this to anyone visiting LSU. The staff is also very accommodating.

I stayed here passing through for work. The hotel is directly off of the highway. It sits along several other hotels (although this one is further back) and there is a strip of food chains all along the road. My first impression when I walked in was very inviting. This hotel is well appointed and very clean. It is off the Interstate just far enough that traffic noise is not a problem, but close enough for easy access. The staff were friendly and helpful. A bit disappointed that there are no restaurants nearby, just fast food outlets. But that, of course, is not the Hampton's fault.

We had a great stay in Port Allen. The Hampton Inn was just great. The complimentary breakfast is just what we needed to get the day started. The staff was very helpful with directions to various destinations in and around the area.
