Four girlfriends from Arkansas traveled to Natchitoches last week. We found the Judge Porter House online and booked three rooms. I slept in the "Judge Porter" room. It is beautifully and comfortably furnished, and every need for a stress free stay was anticipated and accommodated. We girls visited in the parlor at night and felt that the relaxed, yet elegant,... Looking to break up our drive from NOLA back to Fort Worth, TX, I found that Natchitouches is almost exactly halfway. Based on T.A. reviews we settled on the Judge Porter House. Once again T.A. reviewers nailed it. This was a primo experience. We stayed in the Judge Porter bedroom. Very, very nice. In addition to a comfortable canopy bed... More

This was one of the best B & B stays we have had! We stayed in the garden room at the back of the house that overlooked the gardens. There was a small porch outside the room to sit and enjoy the view. The room was beautiful, and bathroom was spacious. The jacuzzi tub was a nice way to relax.... More

We stayed in the Judge Porter room and it was superb! Beautiful room, plenty of space and privacy. Breakfast was top-notch. It was unique and delicious. The shopping and restaurants were nearby, so for our brief stay it was the perfect place.

One of the loveliest bed and breakfasts we have stayed in over the past 15 years. Breakfast was fantastic and service and hospitality was top notch. Beautiful antique bed and wardrobe, liked the upstairs sitting room too. The town has a charming historic district with cute shopping options and many restaurants. Try the 3 plantations too - all very different... More

This B&B provides a great balance of hospitality and allowing independence. There are enough public spaces for visiting but also sufficient room in each suite for personal time. Every suite is lovely with a well appointed bath. The house is a great example of traditional Southern style. Liz did a great job in providing well presented and tasty food at... More

Beautiful and quiet B&B. The room was well-appointed (including a corkscrew!) and breakfast was amazing and served family style. The innkeeper, Liz, was very accommodating and friendly. I would definitely recommend it!

Beautiful old restored home. Has five rooms all with ensuite bathrooms and each one different with its own character. We stayed in The New Orleans suite on the second floor with a four post bed and with balcony complete with rocking chairs! There was an open sitting room with another room also on second floor. Furnishing all from the original... More

The breakfast that Tod prepared for us was delicious and elegantly presented. Wished we stay longer! A truly beautiful experience!
