The best part of this hotel is the location as it is only a block from the waterfront street. It means easy access to the historic shopping area. Other positive as the staff is very friendly and there is plenty of parking, although not secure as there is no pedestrian gate preventing people from walking onto the lot. Unfortunately, the... Great location. 1/2 block off Front Street! Our room was nice. Our only complaint was the water pressure in the shower was poor, and my wife didn't feel like she could get her hair complete clean. The beds are very soft, which was okay for sleep, but a little inconvenient for lounging. Some of the staff could be friendlier. The... More

This is a top-flight boutique hotel in a quaint historic city. Rooms were large. Beds large and comfortable. Room, including bathroom, very well-appointed. One of the biggest challenges in Louisiana in summer is having the room temperature comfortable and this place delivered a very cool night. The morning buffet was solid - several steps above the typical breakfast buffet. Easy... More

Twenty rooms located half a block from Front Street. Need an entry code to go into the parking lot and to the backdoor . The Inn is an old Bank converted into a quaint get away. Rooms are decorated in old French Deco, posterbed, Internet, Tv, hair drier. Hot breakfast served in the seating area or out side in the... More

Hotel Staff is great. They are always concerned about what time you plan to return to the Hotel, as they lock the front doors facing the street. and Then advise you to come through the back glass doors using a passcode.During a previous stay, they actually had someone waiting on me before they locked the doors. Parking is private and... More

Our wedding party/family rented out the entire inn for a wedding. The hotel staff were extremely kind and accommodating and easy to work with! It is really a very charming inn - so many nice touches that you won't find at a chain hotel/motel, such as complimentary happy hour, umbrellas waiting by the doors for guests to borrow, Keurig machines... Stopped st the Church Street Inn on a week night. Hotel was almost empty, but great for us. Happy hour was awesome, wine was great!!!. It's located in the middle of town so we never had to move the car. The parking for the hotel is in a gated parking lot!!! A nice leisurely walk through town. Next morning we... More

So nice to be able to walk to restaurants and other attractions. Would have liked for the room to have attention . I would stay again and recommend it highly. Be sure to visit the church beside this hotel, and the many interesting shops on Front Street. And enjoy the complimentary wine in the afternoon at the hotel. Great experience

We booked two rooms for two nights in this hotel for a "girls trip." Accommodating two 12-year-olds, two senior adults, and one me was not the easiest task, but the hotel is nicely decorated, and ideally located. We found the staff to be accommodating and friendly. It's true that the walls are quite thin; so we turned on the fan... More

Wow what a great little find this town was, the Church street inn offered affordable , comfortable lodging in a great little town. Plenty of gift shopping along the riverfront and wonderful restaurants including Maglieaux's where we had a wonderful dinner. The only disappointment was the Adai Indian Cultural center which advised opening hours in tourist brochures but was closed... More
