We planned a weekend getaway to this beautiful town to see the Christmas lights. We thought we were staying at a bed and breakfast, but it was more like staying with two friends that we had known forever! Terrance and Patti immediately welcomed us to their home and made us feel so welcome. They helped us learn about seeing the sights around town and which restaurants were the best. They didnt lead us wrong-our trip was so much better because of their help. And when was the last time you shared ice cream with the host & hostess of a inn? We watched TV and sat around a talked in the evening. Since they only have two rooms, you wont get lost in a crowd at breakfast...something we have experienced several times. We definetly recommend this inn for your visit-the view overlooking the river is breathtaking and we hope to go back and will stay here again. And if Terrance and Patti ever come to the Houston area, we hope that they will stop by to see us as well.
