It's not Plantation Inn - it's "Plantation Hotel" and it's really NOT a hotel - it's a MOTEL. The website stated it was in Morgan City. It is not. It is located in Bayou Vista (outside of Morgan City). The pool was so filthy, you could not see the bottom. My kids could not swim in it. The hotel's restaurant was terrible. I waited half an hour before the waitress came out and told me that they were out of what I ordered. No offer was made to discount the meal.

There are no outlets in the room. As a business traveler, I have several electronics to plug in. I had to charge my cell phone and blue tooth by the sink and unplug a lamp to plug in other electronics.

At night, it feels very unsafe to walk outside. I had to go to the front desk to request an extra set of towels and I was very uncomfortable walking in the dark - it is poorly lit. The grounds look NOTHING like the website.
