I recently went back to my hometown, THis property at one time was the best property in the city when it was a Holiday Inn (Holidome) it looks as if they haven't renovated since the 1980's, the place smelled horrible, the area around the hotel has deteriorated. Tube TV from the 90's with flicker and bad color..hallways smelled like vomit... More

This was horrible. We stayed there during some minor renovations and the rooms were old and the bathtub didn't have a shower curtain the the tub was cracked. The fixtures are old the door didn't even lock. The heated indoor pool was about 20 degrees, the hotub was nice and hot but I think every teenager from the neighborhood showed... More

Upon early arrival my husband was informed that check-in was 3:00. An hour later (3:00) we were told that it would be an hour or so before we could check in. No explanation. After others started to get loud in the lobby it was admitted that the Tulane football team had asked for a late checkout. They had all 130... More

Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience at the hotel. I am very sorry that we had problems with check-ins being late when Tulane departed late. We tried to have enough staff on hand so the minute the team walked out of their rooms that the housekeepers were in them right away to turn them over.... More

Nice hotel clean rooms. Each day we had to wait 3 hours for clean towels everyday when we had been working out in the heat for 12 hours. Housekeeping staff was very very rude. I dont think we will return.

I apologize that the housekeeping staff was rude to you during your stay. I have been trying to work with them about that, as I expect everyone that works here to have a positive attitude while at work. During the course of my short time here I have been ordering towels and other things for the rooms so there is... More

Not a good hotel to drive into after being in the car all day. Disappointed from the start. The hotel is very old and feels that way. The pool looks old with cracked tiles and the water looked smoggy. No pool towels so you will have to bring one from the room. I was shocked to find out my pet... More

Thank you for reviewing the hotel to let me know what things were important to you that needed looking into. Yes the hotel is old and in need of renovations. I have been trying to concentrate since getting here a few months ago on changing attitudes and cleaning correctly and thoroughly. The pool towels were disappearing every time we turned... More

Items on the web site were misleading...the longer I stayed, the worse it got. Game room had no A/C, work out room was terrible, the outdoor pool was nonexistent, indoor pool was in a large area that was not ventilated causing it to be very hot and stuffy and chlorine was so strong my kids could not stay in the... From the outside it looks rundown. Changed rooms 5X because 1) AC didn't work 2) AC stopped working 3) Room smelled like smoke 4) Room reeked of mold 5) Another smokey room 6) finally found a room with working AC and didn't smell of smoke or mold. Train seemed to run by every 30 minutes or so. Outdoor pool is... More

There were few cars in the poorly lit lot the hotel appeared empty. Our room was at the very back. We walked through the "dome" and passed the murky green indoor pool and the covered, neglected outdoor pool. Public areas were not air conditioned. Disrepair was everywhere. In our room, we found a puddle of dried urine about six inches... More

Dirty, falling apart, terrible service. I'm worried things are going to crawl all over me while I sleep. Terrible area. Outside door was unlocked when I came in the room and the train rolls through right behind the rooms.

why you ask? The internet here is Soooo slooooow. If you travel for business, don't risk lack of internet speed to get your proposals done, or update your blog... it's gonna take you awhile to do so.
