This Marriott shares space with an office building. We had a "lake view" room, but the lake was only visible by standing in the dated den-type area connected to the bedroom, if we looked from a certain angle, across the interstate. We had to move furniture and then squeeze behind lamps and the sofa to open the drapes. The room... More

2nd Time to stay at hotel on a 4 day stint while working in New Orleans. Staff was super as before, very clean and rooms were very nice and beds were very comfortable. Was on 16th floor so had amazing view of downtown NO in the distance. Restaurant in hotel is very nice and well kept. Breakfast was hot. Only... More

As a regular Marriott customer, I am happy to say this location shines among the brand. Service was great all around and accommodations were very relaxing. In town for Cheer Competition and this was one of the recommended event hotels. Good location near shopping, dining and easy access to main highways without loud distractions. Lake view room was spectacular.

I've stayed at this property a number of times within the last year. They opened the new restaurant and Starbucks, as well as the new concierge lounge. I had access to the concierge but didn't have a chance to go check it out. The new restaurant/bar is fine. Food was decent, though nothing to rave about. The alcoholic beverages weren't... More

Stayed for two nights in April, 2015. Late check-in was seamless. We ended up with one room facing Lake Pontchartrain and one facing the city of New Orleans. Both were awesome! As it was a weekend, there was a large group of collegiate tennis players there, yet it seemed very quiet. They were a well behaved group. Breakfast was a... More

My wife and I stayed here for business a month ago. The front desk people very very friendly - one was extremely helpful for us when my wife had forgot an item. The bell hop was quick to get us a taxi and the taxi ride was quick to downtown. I would definitely stay here again as the place was... More

Was staying here for a business trip. The hotel is outside the skirts of the city of New Orleans -- it's quiet but it was very convenient to the location of the business that I was visiting. The hotel is impeccable -- extremely clean. I was particularly impressed about their level of security. They do need a gift shop for... More

Just an excellent stay. First off the service here is absolutely outstanding. Another male made out of Kleenex and smiley face notes left for me by housekeeping. Nice and updated hotel. Air conditioner was nice and cool. Beds were comfortable, and pillows were to firm for me but I am sure someone loves that. Room service was great. I had... More

This is my favorite hotel outside of New Orleans. Certain sections of the hotel have been newly updated resulting in a great hotel. The staff is excellent, self parking is reasonable ($10) per day and everything else is great with this hotel, including the dinning options and concierge lounge. Well done.
