Location: In Marksville, LA about 1 1/2 hours north of Zachary. Nice drive, but be careful of the speed traps through the small towns on the way. Excellent covered free parking. Also valet parking is available. Very clean casino. There are a several places to eat inside the Casino. We tried the Market Place Buffet. A little pricey at $24.99... More

We stayed in one of the King bed rooms for one night. The room was large and very clean. The bed was very comfortable but I did not care for the overly fluffy pillows. Other than that I have no complaints about the room and would definitely stay again. I do have a complaint about the one restaurant we ate... More

Front desk staff was polite enough. After booking our room on line for $250.00 a night, we were told that we couldn't have the room with a balcony that we had booked as we had a 13 yr old and a 17 yr old, so the gave us an interior room with a view of the roof, as I was... More

My family and I stayed in the Presidential Suite in the Atrium Tower and we were very impressed. It was huge and the kids loved that the huge jaccuzi tub filled up with water from the ceiling. The food downstairs at Legends was fabulous!

We were in the area and stopped by Paragon. If you fly into the Alexandria you'll see their video commercial at the airport. It is a very large facility. However, the staff all seem to be on autopilot. There's almost no warmth or caring from the floor workers. I felt like I was interrupting their conversation when I asked for... More

I had so much fun with my family at this place, they still serve free drinks as long as you are playing the slots or table games. The food at the restaurants were delicious. Our room was cleaned and restocked daily. The customer service was excellent at the front desk. They have a couple of bars that you can listen... More

Visited this casino and hotel several times. It is always enjoyable to stay here. There is a good variety of slots with decent payout.Food is good at the buffet. The hidden gems are the adjacient fast food places,Mcdonalds and Burger King just a short walk away.

My husband and I visited this casino on New Years Eve (for the day). It was the first time I had been back in 20 years (right after they opened). At that time I said that I wouldn't return, however, I received some comps in the mail several weeks later, 2 free nights, some play money on my card, as... More

Let me start by saying that the staff was very nice. Having said that I booked a non-smoking room, but the tobacco smell permeated the entire resort/hotel/casino. If you are allergic to tobacco smoke, do not smoke or have asthma (especially in children) then stay away before you need a trip to the local ER.

Calvin, the first security dude you see when you enter the hotel/casino, had a smile each day and greeted us kindly each time we passed him. It was our first trip to this casino/hotel and we were very pleased with the casino, room, restaurants, and especially Calvin. Thanks for making our trip memorable and we will see you next time.
