We stayed there in 2014, in early May. We wanted to be close to the bicycling trail. We were pleasantly surprised to find this place in the heart of town, blocks from the trailhead, as well as within walking distance to several good restaurants and the park on the lakefront. The trailhead turned out to be more than a bike... More

The cottages are located on Girod Street right in the thick of historic downtown Mandeville. The cottages are comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. You can literally walk to Lake Pontchartrain and the many restaurants/coffee shops in the area. If you like bicycling, this is the town to do it in. Tammany Trace is also just a short walk/pedal from Girod as... More

We stayed here for part of our honeymoon, since I booked it online we had a fear of what it was going to be like. But we were beyond pleased. The cabin was perfect and charming. The shops, restaurants and lake were all within walking distance and we enjoyed riding the bikes down the trailhead. We can't wait to come... More

I am so glad we found this when we started researching where to stay on our recent anniversary trip. We wanted a quiet, relaxing place where we could drive in for a day trip to New Orleans but be in a place with a small-town feel to it. The owner walked us to our cottage in the rain with his...
