Had family visiting, so placed them here. Hotel was remodeled a few years ago, and they have done quite a nice job. Rooms are small but comfortable. Location is excellent. Area is very safe. I know owner, and he is attentive to the needs of his customers. My family had a nice stay at this hotel, and I can recommend... More

Excellent customer service. We were on a bicycling trip and when we got there, the hotel was closed so called and got answering service. They tracked down owner who was out of town and be had housekeeper open hotel and check us in. The rooms were spotless and nicely decorated. I highly recommend Hotel Carzan.

The Cazan is a moderately priced and moderately adorned hotel. The rooms are small but clean, as are the bathrooms. There aren't a lot of frills but the owner is fabulous and attentive, the location is right across from Fred's and the bar on the main floor is as friendly as you'll find in Cajun Country. I knew I wasn't... More

Let me just say that Hotel Cazan was perfect for our needs when visiting Fred's Lounge on a Saturday morning. Though saying that.... PROS: Location. Loved that Fred's lounge was across the street. Right in the center of town where we met the nicest of people. Coffee shop next door opens at 7 for breakfast.....that's a whole other review. Bart... More

rehab done a few years back and the place is immaculate. our room was 1 full bed only and was great. small but really clean and appointed simply. bathroom was terrific. weird thing is that the room did not have a chair so maybe bring something with you--- the bed had a foot board so it was impossible to sit... I have always wanted to go to the Famous Fred's Lounge and noticed the Cazan was what they suggested for lodging. I called them and made a reservation. Bart the owner/manager treated us like family. The rooms were very clean and remodeled. The place is actually a piece of history. The building is over a hundred years old. The hotel... More

The Cazan was very accommodating for our large group of family and friends. The bar was closed for our private party which they really went out of their way to make it a special event. I highly recommend calling Bart for your special event. The rooms were well kept and neat.

Nice welcome. The room is very clean and the hotel is in the center of the town close by Fred's lounge. Very nice furniture, but no reading lights. But had the sun going down from the room. A place to recommend.

Small room with no chair, no soap, no cups or glasses and a 12" tv. But it is very clean and has a friendly manager who goes out of his way to assist. Best thing is it is very close to Fred's Lounge and other Cajub bars with music. Good coffee shop next door. Fun for one night of heavy... More

Two friends and I stayed here and loved the place. It's right across the street from Fred's, so it's perfectly located for the Saturday morning throwdown. It has been recently remodeled and has very comfortable and nice-looking rooms. The only caveat is that the rooms are rather dark. There were no lamps in either of the rooms we booked -... More
