Stopped here for one night on route to south coast with our black Labrador. Friendly welcome, room comfortable and clean. Perfect for what we needed. Hugo the lab settled in , several footpaths near by for him to stretch legs and Elaine offered us use of the paddock. Although a nice gastropub in village we ended up driving to a... More

Dog friendly b&b in pretty rural setting. Good accommodation with ensuite, tea and coffee facilities. Clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful owners. Interesting history to the property. Would stay again when in the area.

The welcome we received was 2nd to none. Our hosts Elaine and Mike on our arrival made us feel like old friends, could'nt have asked more from our stay. All the comforts of home, delicious breakfasts and would recommend this B & B to all our friends and relations. We brought our pet (a miniature schnauzer} with us and he received... More

Just got back from stopping at Eastside for the 6th time. The hosts Elaine and Mike are so welcoming, the breakfasts are great... nothing too much trouble, great value for money and the rooms have all been recently redecorated. The countryside around is absolutely beautiful with a lovely local country pub a short walk away. Its great to find somewhere... More

Spent a night here in October 2011, a warm welcome from Elaine & their Spaniel, the en-suite studio was well equipped & spacious, with everything you'd need for a longer stay. Great selection of teas & coffees and cereal bars too. A comfortable night's sleep in a comfortable & calm room, followed by a tasty, plentiful & varied breakfast. We'll... More

I wish I could say something nice about this place because the owners were lovely. But I can't - the room was HORRIBLE!!! It seems they can't be bothered to keep it clean. Whatever you do, don't book the baby cot - the ancient mattress was stinking with mould, even through several layers of blankets and sheets. The cot was... More
