I am a flight attendant as my user name may indicate :) and this is one of my very favorite overnights. My airline used to stick us out in the middle of nowhere in Sulphur, LA but now have us in this beautiful hotel. It is a great time. I am not a big gambler but they also had live... more

My husband and I needed a long weekend away, so headed to Lake Charles and Láuberge. What a surprise to find a beautiful new resort - in the middle of nowhere! We are golfers and enjoyed the Contraband course. The hotel was well done, especially for a casino resort. In the first place, you don't have to go through the... more

This was my first time staying at the hotel. I had eaten at the buffet a couple of times when I would visit my Mother. My boyfriend and I decided to spend the night after an evening of gambling. The room was great and we loved the flat screen and large tub. We just had to stay an additional day... more

LDL Casino is easily the best Hotel.Casino this side of New Orleans. The place is very clean and has many amenities. Rooms are nice, clean and well equipped. Beautiful pool area. Five restaraunts gives you excellent dining options - Jack Daniels is the best spot for good food, spirits, sports and good looking woman waiters. I love the outfits they... more

***Big tip*** call the property before booking online. We saved $50 a night because of a special they were offering that wasn't listed on their website. We arrived right at check in 4 pm, which meant a back up in nearly every area, as to be expected. One tip here, if you arrive at drop-off, don't expect to take a... more

We read most of the reviews and decided to try it since we had received a comp for a 1 night stay. Hotel was very nice and clean. Ate at Jack Daniel's - Hamburger & Fries $10 (Tip: get a drink from the casino and take in with you - It was surprisingly good. Other items on menu very pricey... more

Arrived at the LDL mid-day. Pulled up under the portico, and waited a few minutes for a valet to come get our car. We weren't even OFFERED a bellman to help with our luggage. For $200/night, a bellman should be helping me with my luggage, and I shouldn't even have to ask. Walked in the front door - and immediately... more

- Booked directly by calling and had the players card. Just asked if any promo, or discount or can get floor rate. Got the floor rate of just $50(56.20 after taxes) for one night. Sunday night for the King room. Clean room, nice layout. Nice view. Was on 20th floor. Had view of the pool/cabana/villa/lazy river etc. Room came with... more

I live in Beaumont, about 45 min away from Lake Charles. My husband and I try to sneak over there about once a month. 95% of the time we stay at L'auberge. The other times would be at the other casino/hotel in Lake Charles. The rooms are nice. We always get ours comped, so not sure how much they run... more

I booked this hotel to celebrate my husband's birthday. Since it was a happy celebration I reserved a "Suite". We had stayed in a standard guest room on several other occasions and I wanted to do something special for his birthday. Imagine my surprise and embarrassment when we arrived at our "Suite" to find that it was INDENTICAL to a... more
