Everything about this hotel is micro--the walls are micro-thin (as in listen to your neighbors talk quietly kind of thin), the pool is the size of a postage stamp, and the continental breakfast is so tiny it's almost invisible (there were five donuts, some english muffins, and some expired wheat bread). I stayed in the Microtell Inn & Suites in December and paid cash for the room charges. They had my debit card # though to hold the room. On January 2nd I noticed a charge to my debit card of $100.57. This was my first time staying at a Microtel property. I was there on Oct. 13 and 14, 2006. They proudly proclaim in a brochure that you will get "the same great hotel" wherever you stay. All I can say is it is far from great and if it is the same everywhere I will be sure to stay away!... more
