My tour group of 40 stayed here for a night's stay. As I didn't go with the optional Cajun dance and meal experience, myself and the other 5 that didn't go found the eating places limited. There was just a Shoneys where the chef didn't turn up that night so only having buffet or the Holiday Inn, where it was... more

Better than average bed, room appears to have been updated recently. Room was adequate size and was very clean. Saw one bug in the room, but would guess that's not unusual in this part of Louisiana. Breakfast was standard fare with very good fruit. Front desk staff was friendly. This hotel has a large number of rooms, and it appears... more

Rooms ok but small. If you happen to be a light sleeper you might want to take some ear plugs. This seemed to be a "party" hotel with loud motorcycles and people into the wee hours in the central, open "courtyard" parking lot. If we weren't with a group we would NOT stay there again. more

We had stayed there before and the first time was fine. We were satisfied, that's why we chose to stay there again. This time when we got there the young lady at the front was very friendly, but that was not the problem. We asked to look at the room before we payed, she let us look at the room,... more

We (my wife and I) stayed here for three nights while visiting the area. Our room was clean and comfortable. The room included a refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer, iron & board and coffee maker. As we always travel with our dog, the dog friendly policy is one of the reasons we picked this hotel. While it is a little older,... more

Our second to last stop on our tour of the South, we stopped at the La Quinta Inn in Lafayette. First let me say that this was the worst hotel in all the places we stopped at. Thankfully it was for only one night since our tour bus departed the next day for New Orleans. Uppon getting the keys to... more

Stayed here for 2 nights in Dec 2006. The room was clean. Everything worked ok. However there had been a problem with an infestation of crickets and we did find a dead one under the desk!! Free breakfast, which was ok. Staff very helpful and friendly. Not somewhere to stay that gives you comfort and peace of mind but is... more

Stayed here with the family for one night on a trip from Georgia to Texas. It was OK - the most important things, a clean, relatively quiet room that did not smell bad in a convenient location next to I10 - were satisfied. This property seemed a little older than other La Quinta's so little things (the TV making a... more

The La Quinta in Lafayette, while reasonably priced, showed it. During the two nights we were there we "shared" the place with drunken wedding guests, baseball teams, truckers, and large dogs who relieved themselves outside our door on the grass. At least I hope it was a dog! I guess you can't expect much for $61 a night, but I... more
