My recent stay at The Jameson in Lafayette was not my first. Every visit to the Jameson has been very pleasureable for me. The staff are extremely friendly. The beds are very comfortable. All the facilities, bath etc met the highest standards of quality. Needless to say, the complimentary copy of USA Today and access to the internet are just... more

I have stayed at lots of hotels in my life and when i walked into the jameson Inn it was like walking into a family members house. Everyone there was so loving, the staff was great with helping us even the maintance man brought in our bags for us. One thing i must say is that the General Manager Steve... more

Children ran up and down the hall until 2 a.m. A LOUD drunken party went on in the very next room until 5:30 a.m. Got no sleep whatsoever. When I called the front desk to complain, no one answered. more

We were traveling with a large group. My daughter's 8th grade class was taking a tour of Louisiana, we had right at 60 people in our group. The group had I think close to 25 or more rooms and every room had some problem with them. Our room had two double beds, neither bed had been changed and had crumbs... more

We stayed here during a renovation to our home, this area of town has a lot of questionable people running around. We were hit up for money going in and out of this place by a gang of young people and some older looking bums. This hotel is in walking distance of several restaurants, but I would not walk in... more

arrived at the hotel to find it under renovation--no notice was given to me when making the reservations, and no notices were posted. The toilets were not flushing, carpet nails still on floor and in walls, putty on floor, workers staying in adjacent rooms playing loud latin Dmusic and leaving their doors ajar, getting a late wake up call, and... more

Before January 2008 I had never heard of a Jameson Inn. I was relocating from Jacksonville, FL to Texas and needed a place to spend the night in Lake City, FL. Jameson Inn that accepted pets so I booked one night there. I was so impressed with the hotel that when we decided to spend the night in Lafayette, LA... more

This is a good, clean basic hotel. The room was very clean, the king bed was comfortable - good water pressure. The vanity was outside the bathroom which was convenient. There is no coffee pot in the room, but they have free coffee in the lobby. The breakfast was basic with biscuits & gravy, cereal etc. The waffle maker was... more

This is a good choice for exploring the Lafayette/Cajun area. Off of a busy road but the room was very quiet. Had a suite that was large, quiet and clean. Nice breakfast with bisquits and gravy or waffles. Very pleased for $89! We looked at other hotels in this area and didn't find any as nice or quiet. Your are... more

We arrived somewhere around 11:30pm with three young children and were very ready to get some sleep. The person that was at the front desk informed us that our discounted rate that they printed in a travel magazine wouldn't apply because they didn't have a lot of rooms left. We were so displeased by this attitude that we stayed at... more
