This is a great little hotel that offers southern charm and excellent hospitality. The rooms were no frills but clean and comfortable. The service is some of the best that I've experienced with all of the employees willing to help with directions and recommendations for the area. Very good housekeeping service. Sojourned here with the wife and kids for three nights. We payed a third of what we usually dish out at the nearby Hilton which had no vacancies, so we kept our expectations well in check. When I checked into the hotel, I was taken aback at first with the age of the property. It looked very old on the outside. However, upon second glance, I found it to be well beyound my expectations given its age. And the staff was the friendliest that I've come across in years.
