My 10 year old granddaughter, Kelsie, and I stayed at T'Frere's last Saturday evening and absolutely loved our stay. Wonderful night's rest in this charming boutique bed and breakfast just 3-5 minutes away from fine dining and shopping. The innkeepers made our stay most enjoyable and Kelsie is still talking about them. Guests enjoy their own refrigerator in the huge... More

Having stayed at T Frere's several times over the years, we made special plans to stop in Ladayette to spend time with the delightful owners only to be told that they recently sold. Thus all the reviews you may have read are outdated. The great breakfasts are now muffins and some fruit. The building seemed to be somewhat in disrepair.... More

Stayed here on our trip through Louisiana. Hosts were helpful in recommending a nearby restaurant (Bon Temps Grill) for dinner, as well as directions for our visit to Avery Island, and also where to pick up some good Boudin links to bring home with us. Breakfast was delicious! Bed and accommodations were very comfortable.

Staying at T'Frere's is like going to visit your favorite old aunt and uncle, literally. They do everything to make certain you are comfortable....but just like your old aunt and uncle, things might be a little funky. The bath tub might be four feet long, with a water valve that will take a little while to figure out. And that... More

We were taking a road trip to this part of Louisiana and made a reservation here for two nights. Made the reservation about two weeks before trip and based it on what people on TA said. When we got there the whole upstairs was under major remodeling. Walls, bathrooms, etc. So she told us that's ok because we have a... More

The reason I am writing this review is that we are returning to T'Frere's next month because we had such an excellent stay last summer. We were really busy traveling last summer and I did not write a review but here is why we are returning. Our room in the Garconniere was beautiful, comfortable and romantic. Our hosts, Pat and... My husband and I stayed at T'Frere's 2 nights over my birthday weekend. One of the main reasons we chose to stay there was the description of the extravagant "ooh la la" breakfasts. On both mornings, I was disappointed to be served fairly generic breakfast fare - watermelon, a small granola and yogurt parfait, a few pieces of bacon and... More

We were met with T'Juleps and Crab custards and good advice where to eat that night. The whole house was very clean we were in the garden room upstairs which had a very comfortable queen bed. The breakfast was defiantly ooh La La in the grand Acadian manner. Not to be missed. On this vacation we stayed at 13 places... More

My husband and I just returned from a quick trip to Cajun Country. We spent two days at T'Frere's with Pat and Maugi, the InnKeepers! What a great experience. From our greeting at the front door by Pat to our good-by hugs as we left, Pat and Maugi made us feel as though we were members of their family. The... More

We stayed for 2 nights. The hosts were very friendly and suggested a good restaurant. Breakfast was excellent. Would stay again. Our room was behind the kitchen, which does prevent you from sleeping in as it gets noisy in the morning.
