We had no choice but to book Chalets due to a sold out weekend at the Coushatta hotels. After reading the very few reviews online...I was nervous, to say the least. If you are wanting a luxurious, plush, and modern lodging experience then this is not your place. You're in a Louisiana Trailer Park people...this is the best it could... More

We had a really enjoyable weekday stay in one of the dog-friendly one-bedroom chalets. We are always grateful for accommodations that let us bring our pet without an enormous fee attached for that privilege. It was clear to us that a great deal of time and effort was spent to keep the chalet looking nice and tidy. Our chalet was... More

I had/have a prior review about this park. That included the rv, chalets, hotels etc. This time the staff went a step above and beyond what I expected. I was having a/c problems with my travel trailer. I called the desk and they sent engineers to my site and checked it out. Got the unit back operational. The desk people let... More

This was our first time to stay in the chalets where pets are accepted and it was just soooo unclean! It smelled very bad. There was nothing in there that looked clean. The toilet, furniture, tv, glass sliding doors....even the welcome mat was filthy. Horrible bed. It was suppose to be a queen but looked like a full size. This... More

My wife and I have not been to Coushatta in almost 3 years and what a wonderful surprise we received when we went to check in at the RV park. It is still the same, great place to stay. Because of Spring Break we could not get a non-smoking chalet but we couldn't tell it was a "smoking" chalet other... More

This is second trip through the area and we enjoyed both or our stays here in the RV park. Clean roomy cement with side grass sites, plenty of room for our Big Rig, hook-ups worked just fine, pool was clean (we didn't use it) bus to casino was easy to access and we could call to have one come by,... This is only for the red shoes chalet. I am using 3 stars because I don't want to ding the other properties as I have stay at all of them and they are generally good. We have friends that pull their RV here and the chalets circle the RV lot so it is handy. These chalets (park model mobile homes)... More

We have stayed both in chalets and in our RV in the park. It is always clean both the park and the chalets. Just stayed in chalet in Sept and RV park in October. Found both comfortable and a great place to stay and relax. Wifi worked great in park. Leather couch and chair in chalet very comfortable. Both rv... More

We recently stayed at the Red Shoes RV chalets at Coushatta. When we checked in, the unit had just been cleaned but not very well. There were beer bottles and cigarette butts all around the patio area. Things were still in the refrigerator from the previous guests. The bed had a large sink hole in the middle so you had... More

The chalets are a neat concept but I agree with reviews that state that better CLEANING and updating is needed. I stayed here about 7 years ago and didn't feel I needed to clean the place before I used anything. The carpet in the bedroom wasn't vacuumed, there was an empty wine bottle under the bed. Overnight, the sheet peeled... More
