My boyfriend and I were visiting family for a birthday party and did not want to drive back home the same night. Although the bathroom wallpaper was dated, it looks as if the owners had taken some actions on updating the room with paint. The linens were clean and room was very neat along with an amazing air conditioner. The... More

I lived in Homer once but had never stayed at this hotel before. I was able to check in quickly and the lady who handled my accommodations was quite friendly. Given room 108, I found the room to be quaint and clean. Yes, the decor makes you feel as if you have stepped back in time but the room rate... More

Yes, the decor is like stepping into a time capsule straight to the 70's. BUT, we stayed there for almost 2 weeks while working near by and it was CLEAN, SAFE and CHEAP. The staff (Ms. Lilly) was very accomadating and friendly. Remember this is the back woods of the Ark/La border and a very small town. Every day the... More

What an awful experience! Now the doctor has diagnosed Lyme Disease and I've been treated for it. But the expence of having my home exterminated for both ticks and bed bugs is exhorbitant! I am writing this only to spare ANYONE else from going through what I am still experiencing. Bed bugs are so hard to get rid of and... More

This is the only motel in Homer, LA, a small town on the Ark/La border. To say it is dated, would almost be a compliment. Nothing in the rooms matched (furniture, drapes, etc.). Everything looked like Circa 1950 or 1960. The dark wood wall paneling looked like parquet flooring. There were gaping holes around the window a/c unit and at... More
