I picked this motel for myself and my co-workers to stay in because it fit my budget (66/night) and was fairly close to where we were working. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised because the motel looked clean, the lobby was nice, and the check-in clerk was friendly. It was close to a mall, a grocery store, and downtown New Orleans. The rooms also looked clean. The carpet was a little dingy, but overall I felt happy with my room. The internet worked well, but it is an unsecured connection. As soon as I attempted to go on the internet, my computer virus check detected an intrusion attempt. Needless to say I felt a little nervous to log on later in the stay. Breakfast was fine. They served coffee, bagels, cereal, waffles, and fruit.
