This has the makings of a great place under some better management. The rooms are lovely but there is just this depressing aura about the place. Most of the staff is very nice with a couple of glaring exceptions (so much so that we initially felt much worse about the place but it got better as nicer people shifted onto... More

I went to Shreveport for a convention and all rooms were booked so I crossed the river over to Boiser City and found a hotel called Boomtown Hotel and Casino. I was amazed at the fact that the casino is a floating boat on the river. And with all casinos all non-smokers have to deal with The heavy smokers and... More

We went to Boomtown to celebrate my boyfriends 27th birthday. He works for Pinnacle Entertainment so we figured this property would be like others that we have visited. Very nice rooms. I paid for a Jacuzzi suite and the Jacuzzi jets did not work. Therw was mold around the tub and in the shower. Upon initial arrival the toilet was... More

I love this property! Everyone is so friendly from the second you drive up to the Valet. Front desk guy Mark is so accommodating, Cocktail wait staff are fast and efficient, table dealer and cage personal are awesome. There is a Casino Host Named Mike Loveless, he is so hard working and ensures every player feels important. The rooms are... More

Got the hotel through Hotels.com. The hotel was nice and room was clean and staff were friendly. They did not have free internet but was told they are working on making it free and the buffet pricey for a weeknight.

Just stayed one night on our way to Biloxi and will not stay again! The room was shabby torn sheets on the bed and in need of updating but room was clean and I liked the grapefruit shower gel and fluffy towels!

It has been several years since my husband and I have visited the Boomtown Casino, so on our way home on Saturday afternoon we stopped in to check it out. It was our 16th wedding Anniversary trip and arrived late Thursday night and stayed at the Horseshoe (comped room) and the second night we had reservations at Diamond Jacks, but... More

My husband and I are disappointed in this hotel and casino. The staff is the only thing pleasant here! Oh and the jacuzzi tub in our room. The bed is comfy but my pillow was flat as a board and there is only 3 pillows on this king size bed! My back is KILLING me now! I came to relax... More

Hotel is very nice-and front desk offered an upgrade without our asking. Could see pool from the room, and it looked very appealing. No lazy river, but a good size pool. The hotel and shopping areas were immaculate. Not so much for the casino. You were overwhelmed by the cigarette smell as soon as you start down the hall to... More

I recently stayed at Boomtown for three nights to celebrate my dad's birthday. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. The good: The rooms were nice, beds comfortable and the AC worked great. The Not So Good: We had no hot water one day for a couple of hours and I could hear everything from the adjoining room. Fortunately,... More
