First, a few notes about the hotel, before I explain our experience... The hotel has wi-fi access ONLY in their lobby. The rooms have wired access, but no wi-fi. The staff was very friendly. The hotel and the rooms were very clean. The beds were wonderful. They were comfortable and clean. The maid did not pilfer through my belongings. We stayed here while we were down in Baton Rouge helping Habitat for Humanity. So we didn't spend a great deal of time at the hotel, but for our purpose, it was fine. The room was decent sized and the bathroom was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The balcony was nice, and we had a view of the pool.... more

This property was clean as most Courtyards are. The bedding was wonderful as usual too. However, the constant horn blowing from a nearby train yard was absolutely horrible! This horn blowing lasted between 30-45 seconds about every hour or so throughout the night. The length of time the horn blew was rediculous and the hotel should complain to the railroad.... more
