The hotel was in a good location right off of the interstate, the staff was very friendly, it was clean and the rooms/bathrooms were very nice. The breakfast in the lobby every morning was very good. We had something different every morning. The only bad thing was that the pool was under construction. more

Only stayed for one night and ended up on the seventh floor with a decent view of the highway. The room was spotless, the beds and pillows were very comfortable and the staff was more than willing to help. The only drawback was due to being so close to the highway, there was a bit more road noise than I... more

My family all traveled to Baton Rouge for a surprise 80th birthday party for my grandmother at the beginning of February 2008. The Hampton Inn was where the surprise guests stayed, and it worked out perfectly. Check-in was quick and easy. I arrived at a different time than my husband, and the front desk was happy to hold a key... more

We stopped at a restaurant in the area for dinner and needed a place to stay near I-10 as we would be on our way to Houston early the next morning. I was nervous about just walking into a hotel because that is not the way I usually travel. The front desk clerk immediately made me feel at ease. She... more

This is a very nice Hampton Inn. The location is convenient to the interstate and there are good restaurants close by. The rooms are clean and well furnished and the Internet worked well. The breakfast in the morning was good and the overall service at the hotel was good. I would recommend this Hampton Inn. more

Stayed at hotel as part of a road trip in the Dep South. Right on Interstate. Stayed in Rom 822. Fantastic room on eighth floor overlooking Baton Rouge in distance. Im sure there are cheaper properties in the area, but this was good hotel. The lift was a little slow in getting from first floor to 8th, but no major... more

This Hampton Inn was under renovation. On a Sunday night at 8 pm construction workers were still hammering in the room above us. My young daughter and friend went to the pool to swim, but it was filled with 5 construction workers drinking beer. A Police Officer on site for security was oblivious to their activity. Had to wait five... more

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for (1) night on Friday, January 12, 2007 while on our way to New Orleans. This is the 3rd time we've stayed here (twice in 2003 and this past weekend). Overall this is a clean reliable hotel that is convenient to many excellent restaurants (Ninfa's and Chili's are in walking distance) as... more

Stayed here last night. Our room, located on the 7th floor, was clean, everything worked, as a gold Hilton Honors Member all of the appropriate amenities were provided ... but ... there was an "ick" factor caused by cheap pine furniture in the room, plaster walls that were greatly scarred, plaster falling off the ceiling, stains on the walls in... more

The hotel room was clean and everything worked. It was surprisingly quiet (but not totally quiet)from the interstate traffic just outside the window. On one side of the hotel is one of those billboards made up individual lightbulbs - very bright. The light comes easily through the thin drapes at night, making sleep a little more difficult and it made... more
