This hotel is conveniently located with many restaurants nearby. The hotel was very clean and the free breakfast was very good. As a road warrior it's always great to have a spacious suite. I'll be staying here again...

Loved this hotel. Came to Baton Rouge with my mom researching our family tree as her parents are from there. As for the hotel, it was pretty clean and fairly updated (we switched rooms because our fridge didn't work) BUT I can't complain at all about my stay. Both rooms were great and they gave us free starbucks vouchers for... More

Due to a lightening strike we were escorted to our room and felt like we were locked in. TV didn't work and no one came to assist despite our request. Yes they had premium bedding but had not triple sheeted the duvet so it just looked thin and dingy. Bed was comfortable and their complimentary breakfast outstanding. Ok for a... More

Upon check in I was informed the key card maker for guest rooms was tore up and I had to have someone escort me each time I wanted to enter my room. When I entered my room, it smelled like cheap cologne. The carpet in the hallways smelled like mildew. The carpet cleaning guys were cleaning the carpets in their... More

My family & I stayed here for a family function in town, and it was nice. The decor was modern and updated, and the furnishings clean and comfortable. However, the only choice in beds was either a King room or a room with 2 double beds. Doubles? in 2014? The room could have easily been re-organized to have just a... More

This hotel is okay. THE WIFI access is AWESOME!! Easy Easy, but being an IT expert I wonder how secure it is, so be careful when using it. The facilities are well kept. The rooms are average, but its no Marriott lol. The bathrooms are not what you expect after entering such a nicely decorated room. The bathroom is extremely... More

My husband and I booked a room for 2 nights at this hotel for a quick weekend getaway. Our room seemed pretty nice but the bathroom was not. The tub and iron towel racks were rusted and looked dirty. Also the bed and pillows were not comfortable. ( Not what we were expecting from a Hyatt hotel). The free breakfast... More

We always stay at the the Hyatt but this particular hotel is the worst when it comes to clean rooms. We stayed one night only last week and our room had a terrible smell. Our sheets and pillow cases where full of hair and dirt. When I call the front desk, I was told new sheets and pillow cases were... More

Traveling back from Charleston we stopped for the night here. Lots of rain and several people ahead of us to check in. A single young lady, and a military family. Short wait, Matt at the front desk was super! Kept saying he was sorry for the delay. With a smile on his face he just kept plugging along. Super friendly.... More

Very nice, spacious and clean rooms. Great front desk staff. Very friendly and helpful. Great location! Right across the street from the mall and plenty of places to eat. Although the hotel is on a main road/highway, it's pretty quiet.
