After reading the reviews I was a little hesitant to stay, but the bad ones were either before Katrina, or before they renovated. I did not eat breakfast at the hotel, but the staff was friendly, courteous and eager to help. My room was surprisingly clean and the bed so comfortable, I barely moved throughout the night. Hotel was well located just off the interstate and across the street from a Cracker Barrel Restaurant. The rooms were very large and well appointed. The manager arranged for us to have connecting rooms and was very nice Howerver maintenance and service were well below par. Paint chips and scratches were everywhere. Thankfully, we switched to the Microtel after having a bad experience at the Days Inn close by. They worked with us and found us a room quickly so we could get ready for a wedding we were going to. If you want a basic, nice, clean, cheap hotel room...this is the one. Added bonus~ There is a mini golf, go-cart,... more
