I generally use Microtel when traveling for business. We needed a place to stop for the night and saw a special online for this location. This place was a complete dump from the last time I was there. The pillows were flat. The refrigerator door fell completely off. The Internet services was a complete wreck. I'm very displeased with this Microtel.

The room had an offensive odor, some of the lights didn't work, the TV wouldn't change channels or adjust volume most of the time and the internet did not work at all. Left after 1 night instead of the 3 I had reserved. Will never stay at a Wyndham franchised hotel again.

We were looking for a cheap place to stay since we were just going to be in Baton Rouge for a few hours. This Microtel came up on the web as the least expensive in town...and for good reason. There was mold in the shower; the whole place was just run-down and not inviting.
