I recently took a 3 night trip to Baton Rouge, LA and stayed at the LaQuinta on Acadian Thwy. My room was not available until well after 4:45 when it was supposed to be available at 3pm, the front desk staff was awful- rolling eyes, huffy, etc. They checked me into (and gave me a working key) a room that... This was a stay over during a road trip. The hotel was obviously the older style of La Quinta with outside facing rooms. The staff was terrific but the room was mediocre at best. And being near the University brought out some late night noises. But it is right off I10 and near LSU, so if those things work, then... More

We are La Quinta Returns members, But I'm not sure I can handle staying in an LQ ever again. We are traveling from our home in south Texas to Savannah, GA for our 41st anniversary. We found this from a coupon book that we got at the Louisiana Visitors Center. we checked in and finally found our room. That was... More

A place you should avoid unless you are attending a LSU event or is convenient to your work location. Poorly maintained rooms and bathrooms. Internet connection non functional, some rooms have noisy a/c. I stayed in a room the phone did not work and a whole where the phone connections are made. Breakfast selection is limited. No fruit and no... More

I thoroughly enjoy staying at the La Quinta! The room was reasonably priced and very clean. This was my second time staying in a La Quinta. I will definitely be staying here again. Within walking distance is a fantastic mexican restaurant, Mestizo's. Choose La Quinta!

I'm actually embarrassed to admit I stayed at this dump. Arrived late at night to realized how disgusting the place was, so couldn't change hotels. I wish I had, woke up bitten by flees, actually saw one jumping on my hand. Mold, stained sheets, shower drain clogged up, dirty towels.. non smoker room smell like cigarettes...yikes. Just stay away and... More

We usually have good La Quinta experiences, but this trip we had 2 bad ones. These sheets were seriously not clean. They had the wrinkles in the pillow that you get from sleeping on them. The bathroom smelled badly and 3 out of 4 ice machines were out of order (I had to walk all over the property to find... More

We were looking for a pet friendly hotel/motel close to I-10. This hotel is that. The staff is very friendly and the lobby breakfast area is clean and well tended. Our room was another story. The carpets had visible stains and lamps that didn't work. The room smelled faintly of urine (I think) but I was too tired to move... More

My husband an I enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and bed was great. The staff was very polite and welcoming. I had my dog with me and there is adequate grass for her. The maid service is excellent. I would recommend this hotel for your stay in Baton Rouge, LA.
