This Hotel is under renovations, the courtyard is not even close to being complete. Out of the 8 floors, 6 are available for use. The room I stayed in smelled like an ash tray. The Guest Service desk was not helpful, I would call before booking your reservations to make sure the Hotel is in 100% working order. Embassy needs... More

I didn't know they were remodeling the lobby and commons area of this hotel or I would have never stayed here. They didn't bother to tell me this project was taking place when I made me reservation or I would have chosen another place. Dust and dirt everywhere!

Not bad for a football weekend in the SEC. Have stayed in much worse travelling during football season. Room was Ok, parking was adequate and the staff was friendly and helpful to us fans of the "other" team. Food from the small cafe was actually pretty good but could have used some additional help there and in the bar. Buffet... More

Stopped by for one night on a business trip. Meeting clients in one of the meeting rooms the next day. Unfortunately, they didn't let us know in advance they were renovating .... Lobby/atrium is under construction, and when that is done, they need to start on the rooms, and then the public areas. This is a VERY tired property. Rooms... More

I have been staying at this hotel for over 5 years with my program. I hold conferences here once a month from January - June. The customer service and attentiveness is exceptional. I know when I walk through the doors that everything will be ready for me. I have been watching the renovations unfold since January. I was able to... More

the pillows on bed were very uncomfortable and too small. I thought the bedspread in the armoire was a bit strange but get that concept since many people may not use it. matress was not comfortable at all. We love the ammenities in room and two separate spaces, its like being at home.

I can overlook construction renovations and problems it can cause but I don't overlook complete lack of concern of hotel staff over issues brought to their attention. No hot water. That's a problem but when I told the staff they didn't even respond. Dated property but getting a face lift.

Thank you for your comments concerning not having hot water. Our staff should have been more attentive and resolved the issue by sending an engineer to you suite to fix it. I will review our service procedures with our team to make sure they don't let other guests experience the same lack of urgency or empathy. Ralph Ney, General Manager More

We stayed at this Embassy Suites in Baton Rouge on a trip back to Texas from Florida. The hotel is very easy to get to off of I-10. They are currently remodeling the atrium (and the top floor rooms) which is great to see. The hotel room we stayed in was so outdated and the two beds as well as... More

This hotel was a nightmare. The bed was not even completely made. It was to be a room for 4 adults and it was not stocked to accommodate 3 adults. We did not have enough pillows for 4 adults and housekeeping ran out of pillows before we could get extra. We had to go to the front desk to get... More

Shower did not work, big suprise when you wake up early to get to work and you can't shower and don't have time to change rooms. When we went to check out the person at the front desk informed us that he could not reduce the rate. He informed us that we had to wait for the manager of the... More
