Nice place, but the Internet bandwidth was terrible. I had no problem connecting to the Internet, I just couldn't read large emails or view complex sites. Certainly not worth $10 a night. And why must I have 200 characters minimum to post this experience. What happened to brevity in our society.

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times, however, this visit was a BIG disappointment. Here are some reason: Tub had no stopper, thus, could not take a bath. Lamps & electrical outlets did not work. Clock didn’t work but because of batter, it went off at 3:15 a.m. Our bill was higher than quoted.

We have stayed here many times over the past ten years and were looking forward to seeing the renovations when we booked three rooms for our nephew's LSU graduation. Our rooms had been updated but one of the rooms we were given smelled strongly of smoke even though it was a "nonsmoking" room. We moved to another room but the... More

Overall nice hotel. Hotel doing construction but it still was a good stay. Appearance and value for my dollar was very good. I would recommend it and enjoyed our stay at the Embassy Suites. Hotel was able to offer a discount to our Reunion Group because they were in the middle of construction but we did not inconvenience our Reunion... More

We stayed here on our way to Florida in July. Everyone was "okay" as far as service, but the place was quite torn up and I just thought the price was high for the environment. We like staying in ES because as a family we can be housed in one room and we enjoy the happy hour and breakfast -... More

The room was not in operating condition. The phone didn't work, the refrigerator didn't work. The room smelled of old smoke. The service was horrible. The staff are unfriendly and uncaring. When my husband walked down to the front desk to let them know our room had issues, he was treated like a criminal. Even the coffee in the lobby... More

As others have mentioned, this hotel is under renovations. It is a mess. It is a convenient location just off I-10 with lots of restaurants around but is by far the worst Embassy we've stayed at. According to a woman whose family has been having reunions at different embassies for 30 years, this one is the worst (2nd worst being... More

You should only ever experience BIG friendliness here. I apologize if that wasn't the case on your visit. Rest assured, that is not the standard nor the norm here. As for the AC, please let us know if you're ever experiencing any issues so we can take care of it. We aren't happy unless you're happy. Warm Regards, Ralph More

Every time I go to Baton Rouge I always stay at the Embassy. The staff is friendly and go the extra mile to see that your stay is pleasant and trouble-free. The amenities are wonderful and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. Excellent in-house restaurants, evening managers reception, and complementary cooked breakfast. All I can say is "try it,... More

Don't stay here! Our room had dirty sheets on a made up bed. The dirty sheets had hair and tissues on them when the top sheets were pulled back. Housekeeping is just nasty!!!!! The construction going on at this hotel was never cleaned up at the end of the day by housekeeping, just left dust, paint cans and everything else... More

This hotel is under construction and this fact was evidently lost on Expedia. I had to scream to over the drilling at the front desk and the rooms were not ready at the 3 p.m. check-in time. The TV in one room was broken, the refrigerator in the second room was broken, and, by the time we left, the toilet... More

I'm sorry to hear your stay wasn't up to our normal standards. Even though we are under construction, we should be able to handle it for our guests. Being an Expedia reservation, our staff did not offer a guarantee because you paid Expedia directly. If you contact Expedia, they can arrange a refund for your stay. Warm Regards, Ralph (225)...
