I saw the Marriott in Baton Rouge and thought "This will be so nice." Wow, was I wrong. This was a business trip and the stays at other Marriotts were always nice. But this place is old and outdated with hot hallways and a strong musty odor. The rooms were ill equipped. and super hot when I first entered it.... More

We were kept up all night by noisy people screaming and slamming doors all night and repeated phone calls to our room after telling the person they had the wrong room. Front desk was not helpful and suggested I contact the 3rd party I booked it with. Will never stay here again!!!

First, I want to thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We love to hear from our guests as this helps us in our goal to always provide excellent service. Being told to contact the party you booked your reservation with is a strange response to give to a noise complaint and repeated phone calls... More

Recently stayed at the Marriott in Baton Rouge and everything was great. The hotel is in a great location with many places to eat around. The staff is very friendly. The person checking me in (name was Diamond) was very polite and professional. My room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel is an older Marriott property but it is... More

Stayed here for our anniversary and it was awful! The hotel is old and dated. We purchased a breakfast plan with our room. The service was poor...after waiting 15 minutes we seated ourselves, the staff was rude and the food was terrible.

This "toaster" shaped hotel is right on the interstate passing through Baton Rouge, but our high floor room was clean comfortable and fairly quiet. The weekend rate was $109 which included a buffet breakfast. However, the buffet was limited and the restaurant appears old, tired and dark. The manager was very professional and courteous. This is an older property surrounded... More

This hotel Is one of the older hotels in the Baton Rouge area but it is very well kept and has a elegant classic look. My friends and sisters stayed here after my graduation and it was very nice. Only hiccup we had during the night was our key to our room did not work when we returned from grabbing... More

Decent guest room, tired and dated common areas, and friendly staff. To compete, they really need to update the common areas. The restaurant seemed to only be open in the morning. The concierge lounge was nice enough, but was run over with people. When I was there the ceiling near the front desk had a big hole in it. Not... More

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I am glad to hear that you found our staff friendly and that you enjoyed the concierge lounge. The concierge lounge is open 7-days week, in the morning and in the evening. The restaurant is also open in the morning and evening. To address your other concerns, there was a leak on... More

Although it's a throw back to nicer hotels of yesteryear, I did enjoy my stay. Everyone was nice and the housekeeping even helped organize my clothes on the floor! New carpet in rooms and new beds are needed sometime soon.

This hotel has a nice lobby area, very nice people who are helpful and friendly. It was great for our large group. Rooms are large and clean, a bit on the utilitarian side but really you have all you need. The only thing I did not like is that it sits right next to the highway, so all rooms seem... More

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay here. I have stayed at this Marriott many times because of the good corporate rate. It is dated for sure, in desperate need of a facelift or renovation, but the service is really good and the people are exceptionally friendly that work there. The room service quality is marginal and the internet service is sub-standard at peak times (5-10PM). Give it... More
