Stayed here prior to a LSU football game. Check in was at 3:00 per hotel website. When you pull up there is a line of cars 2 blocks long waiting to be parked. By time we finally get to park it's 3:30 and we just need to change and head to campus. We try to check in only to be... More

Location is great for downtown attractions. Stayed on the Executive floor, the complementary lounge was nice and the breakfast was unique. The rooms are so small you have to move furniture to open the closet but they were clean and the bed was comfortable.

Stayed here for 2 nights recently. Hotel is very well located near many restaurants and nightlife. Our bedroom and bath were well appointed. We had several problems that really should not have happened. First, our toilet did not flush as it was partially blocked and slow draining. This is something the staff should have noticed. Neither phone worked properly. The... More

First, paid extra $60 for a room with river view. Got one with half the view hidden by the pool's trees. Second, the restaurant service and food are horrible. We left the restaurant on a Sunday night with only 2 tables occupied, ours being one of them, after 50' and no main course. Our waitress, Ally, was solely dedicated to... More

Stayed 2 nights and was treated very well by all the staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Business accommodations were great. Food was OK, I guess it's what you get when your feeding 200 people. I can't say enough about the staff. They were friendly, and went out of their way to help in any way they could.

My wife and I haven't been since they renovated the facility. The black guy with dredlocks at guest services was very friendly and helpful. The bar was immaculate and the the shrimp cocktail was different but delicious. Our room had an spectacular view of the Mississippi River. The morning breakfast room service was delectable. Our overall experience was great, and... More

Nice view of the Mississippi River. Breakfast buffet was amazing with full omelet bar and a lot more goodies to choose from. Beautiful lobby with vintage '20s decor and really cool silver phones. The staff was friendly and helpful with solving a problem that we had with a leak from the room above us.

Upon check-in had some problems, but were straightened out. Our second key to the room did not work, so we just used the other key. Received an email at work stating if we want to up-grade to river view room it would be an extra $19.99, but when we got to hotel, I asked it they had a river view... More

We stayed here for an LSU game. The rooms were clean and well appointed and the staff was friendly and helpful. The biggest surprise though was the restaurant. Often hotel restaurants are not the best but the food here was superb. Our whole party loved their entrees and the desserts were divine. And it was inexpensive for for you got.... More

We loved the loved the location of the hotel. So many restaurant choices and things to do all within walking distance. We were able to stay on the River side with our own balcony. Great view of river activity. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We did eat breakfast and while the food was good, the waitress was pretty slow. At... More
