We have been to Baton Rouge many times to visit family, and have never had a wonderful experience in accommodations. But now we will continue to come back every year. I just finished a five-day business stay at the Fairfield. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is extra friendly and helpful, and the complimentary breakfast had plenty of variety. There is free wireless access throughout the hotel. Location is very close to I-10 and I-12, and there is ample shopping/restaurants in close proximity. more

We stayed one night while passing thru. Clean, however we stayed on 3rd floor and the hallway smelled of smoke bad. Got in teh room and teh odor went away. Breakfast was good, 3 hot items offered waffles, breakfast sandwichs and biscuts and garvy. The Breakfast Room was small. We would stay again. more

We stayed here over the Christmas weekend and were able to get a nice holiday rate ($80) for a King suite. The suite was on the first floor and came with a sofa, fridge and microwave. Stayed at the Fairfield for work. This place was just what I expect from a Marriott property. Clean, good breakfast and very, very helpful workers at the front desk. It's located right off the interstate and near many good places for dinner. Seemed to be a very good value for the area. When back again I will stay here. more
