Husband and I were headed back to Houston from Ohio on a business trip and wanted to stop to try a little gambling. We knew we were going to be arriving late and not be able to spend much time at the hotel, so we didn't want to pay an arm and leg. Found a room for $79, and it... More

Brooke, we're so glad we were able to show you such a good time! Whether you're here for a week or a weekend, we want to make sure you're set for an amazing stay, and we're glad you had just that! Thanks for the feedback on the rooms -- given our hotel's age, bathroom size is something we've been working... More

Staff was very nice and helpful. Non Smoking rooms used to be smoking rooms, they still smell. Hallways to rooms are over deorderized making me think, what are they hiding? Then the train, once maybe twice in the middle of the night goes right by the hotel with the horn going off at each intersection. Will not stay here again.

We really wish you would've had a better stay while here in Baton Rouge. Although we can't do much about our location, we understand how the train might've bothered you. That said, we love being so close to those historic tracks. As for any odors you smelled, we wish you would've let us know -- we certainly want to be... More

We had never been to Baton Rouge, were returning from a trip to the beach and decided to stay at the Belle so my husband's mom could spend some time in the casino. Not being aware that Disney on Ice's Frozen was debuting, we encountered lots of traffic. Check-in was quick and seemingly smooth, until the credit card was charged... More

We so apologize for any aspects of your stay that let you down. We do our best to clearly explain where our casino is located in relation to our hotel, but we're sorry to hear that your mother wasn't able to make the walk. As for the issues in your room, we sincerely hope you made the front desk aware... More

When my friend and I first arrived it took me 25 minutes to check in because there was one person at the desk and 5 people in line. Seems under staffed. The room we stayed at was a club room and they didn't vacuum the floor at all, there was an empty gummy worm bag on the floor in between... More

Deanna, we're so sorry to hear that the state of the room wasn't up to our standards -- there should never be anything leftover from the previous guests! Thanks for bringing it to our attention. We're hopeful that we'll get a chance to make it up to you. Best, Belle of Baton Rouge Casino Hotel More

Our stay was excellent. We had a junior. suite and were very satisfied. Enjoyed dinner in shuck's. Prices were moderate and beer very cold. Within walking distance to USS Kidd. Only drawbacks were no open menu sit down breakfast on weekdays and a charge to use the guest computer in the business office,

Thank you so much for staying with us! We're delighted that you had a satisfactory stay here, and we certainly appreciate your feedback about the menu and the guest computer. Please rest assured that we will look into both issues, and hope that you'll consider staying with us again in the future. Take care, Belle of Baton Rouge Casino Hotel More

My wife and I recently had business to attend to in Baton Rouge and decided to get a room at the Belle Casino. Having never been and since it was a weekday the room was reasonably priced. Once arrived and checked in we notice how unfriendly the staff was in comparison to other casino's. When we got to our room... More

We're really sorry to hear that you were let down, and we're surprised to read some of your comments. Most of all, it's shocking to see that you felt our staff was surly or unfriendly -- usually, our staff receives rave reviews, and we're truly sorry you didn't get to experience us at our best. Ultimately, we know we have... More

The hotel is average. I have stayed here several times when attending meetings at the convention center across the street. It wasn't as nice as I thought it would be since it is connected to the casino. The staff were ok, but not overly helpful or friendly. The rooms are large but in definite need of updating. Seems older and... More

We stayed their from one night, on our way to NO. You get what you paid. Front desk personal at check out was not polite, room was clean, bathroom was a little old. Front desk didn't have change for the soda machine, I walked like 300 yards to the Casino to get something to drink and eat. Casino is horrible,... More

Average is by no means what we're going for, and we want to apologize for not doing a better job of impressing you. In particular, we'd like to apologize for any issues you had at the front desk -- our staff is truly the heart and soul of this hotel, and no one on the team would ever purposefully treat... More

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel after reading the reviews. We picked this hotel primarily for the location. Our son was competing in a wrestling tournament at the convention center on Saturday. The hotel went above and beyond on Friday evening accommodating our entire team and family for dinner in the little bar/ restaurant. The food and service was... More

First of all, we want to apologize for a less-than-perfect breakfast at our buffet. We are hyper-aware of expiration dates and food safety, so if you notice something that seems off, we want to know. As for the rest of your stay, we really wish you would've been more impressed with our rooms. On the upside, we can only go... More

The Belle has a long way to go if it wants to compete with the hotel qualities experienced at casino hotels in Shreveport. The staff at the desk was friendly, but the room was just average. On the smaller size with no fridge or microwave. Room and bed were clean. Bathroom was small and was vintage '90s Motel 6. Honestly,... More
