From the moment you walk in the elegant front doors, you are greeted with a contemporary hotel. The lobby and halls are filled with original art by artists from the Baton Rouge area. Check in is quick and run by courteous staff. Rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. On the second floor are the meeting and board rooms, and workout... More

My husband and I live in the area, but thought we would check out the nice new hotel for our anniversary. We have two small children, so we wanted to be nearby, but were looking forward to a little getaway. Upon check-in , I thought the place was beautiful and I was excited. However, things took a turn for the... More

Pleasant staff providing good service. Nicely decorated and new clean feel. We stayed in a suite that had 2 queen beds and a fold out coach in the living room. It worked out great because our kids wanted to sleep on the fold out so we had the room to ourselves. Rooms was spacious and clean. Shopping and restaurants very... More

This was a really nice hotel. Very clean and well designed. Located centrally with easy access to the freeway. Staff are friendly and well informed. The resurant down stairs is great for a sun downer and its well decorated. Many restaurants close by a new shopping mall which is walking distance.

Kudos to the management of this hotel. Everyone from the front door to the fellow who delivered a roll away bed, to room service was ALL smiles. They made Louisiana and Baton Rouge proud. Beautiful HUGE rooms..... atmosphere ALL here. Only negative, go figure, was at the bar, when I felt invisible trying to order a glass of wine. The... More

Good stay but a bit pricey for a family trip. I got this one through Priceline and couldn't resist the great price at the time. It was a beautiful hotel in a good area with plenty of shopping and restaurants. I will most definitely stay again if in the area but only with me and my wife. My only complaint... More

Thank you so much for your recent review. Our hotel has a great amenity of substantial and complimentary parking however we do understand that sometimes hauling luggage across the space can be tiresome. We are appreciative that you endured and chose to stay here with us anyways. We hope you treated yourself to a little lounging in the pool or... More

My husband and I stayed here one night as we were in town for a concert. It is a clean, well-kept property. It is definitely oriented toward an adult clientele with sophisticated interior decorations. The outdoor pool is small and more for cooling off than serious playtime for kids. The room was nice and the bed was comfy. It was... More

I usually stay at Hilton or Marriotts wherever I go. They are usually predictable & consistent. Then I find a place like this that is special. Clean, comfortable large rooms with excellent housekeeping staff. They do the extra things that make you feel special. Keep it up. I'll be back again & again.

We stayed here for a weekend, and the hotel is very nice, clean, remodeled and modern. Front desk staff were very professional, courteous, and offered to assist in areas other than check in. They are well trained. The bar is nice, but prices were outrageous for drinks. It is hard to shock me with drink prices at upscale places, but... More

Every Renaissance I have stayed at has been very nice, a bit more upscale than a lot of places. This property stays true to the theme. Well appointed rooms, big comfortable beds. A staff that enjoys making your stay pleasurable. The bar was great, prices were typical hotel bar high prices. The bar food was excellent, again you pay for... More

There are some great dining opportunities such as Louisiana Lagniappe, Bin 77 and Kona Grill right down the road.
