Booked the hotel last minute when flight was cancelled on 11/16/14. The young lady who checked us in was wonderful, however it was apparent the hotel was grossly under staffed. The room was on the small side, but clean and had the vibe expected from an Indigo. The bar/restaurant was ok - but understaffed - the food was very disappointing.... More

Dear kdl63. First off, I want to apologize for the issues you had with your recent stay at the Hotel Indigo. Obviously a simple stay that should have left you inspired by Hotel Indigo service was not even close. Just to clarify we do have 24 hour shuttle service. There was some miscommunication and that has been corrected. I know... More

After running in the Middendorf 10 mile race in Manchac, Louisiana we drove to Baton Rouge to spend Saturday night. Located in the downtown area, this hotel is a half block from the river. Our $190/night room however did not have a river view. Valet parking is available but we found inexpensive parking ($5) in a city parking garage in... More

From the moment my husband and I walked into the lobby, I was impressed. Obviously the décor is modern and pretty, but I was more impressed with the staff and super friendly atmosphere! EVERYONE without exception goes out of their way to be welcoming and helpful, and "Huey" the adorable resident doggy/ hotel ambassador greeting everyone is an extra inviting... More

I've had many "interesting" experiences as a single female business traveler in Baton Rouge at other hotels in seemingly "nice" areas. This has become the ONLY hotel I will stay in. The staff is great, the valet is attentive and walks you to the door if you arrive at night for safety, the rooms are super-spotless, the a/c is COLD,... More

I never ever write on these type of things, I felt I needed to for this. The bed was unbelievable, we never heard a sound at all through out the night. It was such a pretty room, bathroom was a little too dark for putting on your make up. I loved all the people that worked there.Happy hour was great!!!... More

Besides the fact that the rooms are clean and cozy, and the location is convenient, what made a lasting impression on me was the warm customer service. All the staff made me feel as though I was a guest in their home. The manager Samuel personally came to introduce himself and help us choose a meal we would love from... More

This was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in at a hotel! I do have one big negative about the hotel, and that is there is no sound proofing at all. I could hear the person in the room next to me having a conversation very clearly and all other noises. On a positive note, the staff was... More

I was here on a Saturday night and it was a game weekend for starters so no points taken away for noise (to be expected). When I first opened the door I thought "oh lord they have put me in a closet by the elevator ", it reminds me of a small dorm room. This room would have been uncomfortable... More

We travel often and have stayed in some beautiful places but this hotel has a wonderful atmosphere that is worth noting. We found this hotel to be so refreshing. After a weekend of college visits with my twin daughters in New Orleans, we headed to Baton Rouge for a quick visit to LSU. The three of us were happy but... More

Nice staff, small but nice clean rooms, decent little bistro/breakfast restaurant and good little gym. I would stay here if were to return. The hotel is nicely situated close to Capital City Grill which is good eating and close to a little Blues Bar.
