Clean, nice rooms here, good breakfast (although about the weakest brown water aka coffee I've ever had), very, very nice staff. Kids liked the pool very much. Rate was average, location is very close to the highway which is convenient but also quite loud. Some of the grounds are under construction and the street is currently being worked on so... More

The best thing about the hotel is the huge Gone-With-the Wind style lobby. Gorgeous! The rooms are very clean, but basic. They include a microwave and refrigerator. The free breakfast is very good and includes hot items and waffles. Staff is exceptionally helpful. I decided to shorten my visit by one night and they made a successful extra effort to... More

This is a beautiful place at a good rate. Clean, well appointed rooms and very friendly staff. Breakfast was much better than the chain hotels serve. A great value. Right off rt 75 so easy on and off.

Went to Hampton Inn across the street @ 105.00 a night but they were rude and the elevator wasn't working. Saw this on trip advisor. This place is much nicer and cheaper and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

This inn is owned by the University of Cumberlands and is run by college students along with experienced management. It has one of the most stunningly beautiful lobbies I have ever seen for an inn this size. It is a serene surprise after a long day of driving. The rooms are comfortable, quiet, and exceptionally clean. There is an onsite... More

We were pleasantly surprised to find this unique hotel. Rooms were very nice; there is an excellent restaurant onsite, and a pool that was clean with chemicals perfectly balanced. It was a short drive to the Cumberland Falls National Forest where we hiked. We will return.

As we traveled from Florida to Michigan with our dog, a pet friendly establishment was a necessity. Using the iExit app on my iphone, I came across this independently owned hotel. The app contained a coupon but hotel is not cheap. However well worth the $$. Lovely place with all usual amenities. Complimentary breakfast was usual fare..scrambled eggs, country gravy... More

A nice change of pace. Inn owned by Univ of Cumberlands and used for both college guests and general public. Large Federalist buildings probably from 1980's with a beautiful entry. Since we had a dog with us we stayed in room in adjacent building which was well maintained and clean- showing a bit of wear but still very good. If... More

Traveling through KY to TN to the Smokies we have gone by the Cumberland Inn many, many times. We never knew what we were missing. From the moment you step into the elegant entrance you will realize what a special place this is. Our room was nothing out of the ordinary but was very clean and had everything we needed... More
