My sisters and I stayed in the cottage. The space worked out very well for us and it was great to have the little kitchen to keep our champagne cold. The host was very good at helping us choose a wonderful restaurant and giving us directions so we could watch the horses being exercised at Keeneland. Breakfast was beautifully presented... More

On a recent, solo cross-country trip from Seattle to Boston, I decided to detour through the South and see Kentucky. I didn't want to spend the night in a generic hotel in either Louisville or Lexington, and instead felt like touring some of the bourbon distilleries for which the area is known. Versailles is ideally located near several of the... More

Based on the TripAdvisor reviews, my husband and I booked the Terrell Room and everything exceeded our expectations! The Inn is beautiful and clean, Alder was so very helpful, and Roxie was indeed the best B&B dog ever. We were lucky enough to be in town for a Friday night music downtown celebration. The mayor and his group played to... More

What a great find. I read the reviews here which were good and it still exceeded my expectations. This place is beautiful and CLEAN! You could eat off the floors. Owners are really really nice. Sevice with a genuine smile. Best B&B dog, Roxy, ever. Breakfast was good to very good, everything else was A+++. More

Gill & Alder could not have been more friendly and welcoming. They provided the perfect blend of company and privacy during our short mid-winter stay. The inn had the feel of beautiful old family home. We stayed in Miss Lucie's room. It was spacious, yet still cozy-feeling. The jacuzzi area with stained glass window and bead-board original to the home... More

The owners were very nice; and serve a wonderful, delicious, gourmet breakfast! The room offered a lot of amenities, including candy for munching, a microwave, and a small refrigerator. The owners were helpful and knowledgeable, and gave great dinner recommendations. Our only negative was that our bathroom seemed to be in a bit of disrepair—everything worked OK in it, but... More

We started our Kentucky Bourbon Tour staying at Rose Hill Inn. The Inn is very historic and the owners were the most charming people you could meet. The rooms were historic and the Inn most charming. We loved meeting Alder and Gill and had a great English Breakfast. More

Thank you for all of your hospitality. The Rose Hill Inn is beautiful and was a great place for four high school friends celebrate our 50 year old birthdays together and bring in the New Year. You made us feel very comfortable and we highly recommend The Inn for friends/family gatherings. Thinking about our stay brings a smile to my... More

The Inn is in town within walking distance of a restaurant. You can choose a full sit-down meal or "grab a sandwich or pizza. The Inn keepers are very gracious. They treated us as if we were family. The Inn is a fabulous setting. My wife and I are planning to go back next year. There are many Inns and... More
