Background: 10 of us, 7 in the guest house and 3 in the "Gone With the Wind" Pros: impeccable service, classically decorated rooms. Free and fast wifi. Homemade oatmeal raisin cookies to welcome us. Comfortable beds. We were welcomed and never made to feel like a nuisance even though we arrived well after midnight. The breakfast was gourmet and a... More

By far the best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many. The accommodations and furnishings are top notch. The breakfasts were unbelievable. As one of the guests at breakfast said "Elise is Martha Stewart, the Barefoot Contessa and Paula Dean all rolled into one".

This Inn is absolutely wonderful - immaculately decorated and clean, in a charming town, and a very friendly welcome. The attention to detail was extremely high, with both hot and cold drinks available whenever we wanted them. The breakfasts were fantastic, delicious, healthy and served beautifully. This is a very special and romantic place to stay.

I have always been confused why people don't stay in B and B's when traveling instead of large chain hotels...and Storybook drives that point home again. Elise {the owner) has done an incredible job of creating an environment that exemplifies the hospitality of the South. Designed to perfection with an added bonus of a sunroom ( where you will enjoy... More

Where to begin! My most amazing B&B experience to date. It is obvious that Elise takes pride in A Storybook Inn and it is evident in her diligent attention to details. The rooms are luxuriously and immaculately decorated, the inn is spotless, the grounds are gorgeous and the food is creative and fantastic. I rarely write reviews, but I couldn't... More

Best Bed and Breakfast we have ever stayed at by far. Beautifully decorated ultra clean accommodations. Tastiest healthy breakfasts ever in an awesome ambience. An innkeeper who goes to great lengths to ensure each guest is comfortable and happy. What more can anyone ask? This is a six star B&B - simple as that.

The Storybook Inn is a gem. The house has been lovingly restored and updated with every modern convenience. The food is fantastic and Elise goes out of her way to make every guest feel welcomed and pampered. We enjoyed our experience tremendously and will definitely return to this lovely B&B. Amy R.

My husband and I stayed at A Storybook Inn from March 29-31. What a lovely property inside and out! The Innkeeper, Elise, is a wonderful, thoughtful, friendly and welcoming host. It is very clear that she wants her guests to relax, feel at home, and enjoy all that the inn has to offer. We stayed in the Guesthouse - it... More
