We stayed in a two bedroom cottage. The cottage was clean, roomy and well decorated. Our cottage also had a good view of the lake from the hot tub. My wife and I both took advantage of the spa services, which we scheduled a couple of weeks ahead of time to insure availability. Willow, the massage therapist that worked on... More

False advertising. The pool is small and dirty with weeds in the concrete. The "beach" is a mudhole down a steep trail in the woods. The "spa" is a massage room and a waiting room with 2 old chairs covered in white blankets in the back of the pool house next to storage. Will never come back or recommend. Aweful.

Thank you for your feedback on our property! We are so sorry that you were disappointed during your stay. Our 20 X 40 pool is usually able to accommodate the needs of our guests as they also are enjoying boating activities on Taylorsville Lake and a private hot tub at their own cottage. I am sorry you found the pool... More

The resort is quiet and pictures on website are accurate. If you are looking for relaxation and quiet, this is the place to go. We can't wait to go back. The marina nearby rents boats reasonably. We spent a wonderful day on taylorsville lake.

This makes the second time I've stayed at Edgewater and the first time I've been with my family. On both occasions, I have found my stay to be very relaxing. The cottages are comfortable and clean, and I enjoy the quiet setting. The cottages are well-equipped, but I would recommend asking for additional pillows and towels. Unfortunately, on our most... The cottages are well suited for large groups and for staying in. My family babysit my children here while my husband and I spent the days at Churchill Downs. My family never felt cramped and was able to do things with the children like baking cookies and pizzas that a standard hotel room just wouldn't allow. The view was beautiful,... More

We went the week before the Kentucky derby so there was nobody around an it was quiet. Lots of reading, hot tubbing and sleeping! Private resort off the main drag and the staff (hi Brandi ) were fabulous. It has a beautiful view of Taylorsville Lake and the marina. Had a great time

The resort is in a pretty area off the main road (we saw lots of birds & Turkey's) with Taylorsville Lake nearby. The road to the lake was closed due to flooding, but we enjoyed our balcony view of trees & birds. Condo is fully furnished, clean & comfortable. My only problem with it was the shower: I couldn't figure... More

Staryed 3 nights at the Edgewater Resort as we got deal thru Living Social coupon, had a really nice house on private sort property. Beautiful views of lake, clean hot tub and got coupons for the Bourbon tour, Wine tour and coffee at a local coffee shop in town. Staff very friendly and house was very comfortable with all the... We went for a Friday-Sunday trip. All of the cottages looked to be new. Ours was very clean and had all the basic kitchen items most cabins or cottages have and the view of the lake was awesome! One con was the hot tub temperature, which was not hot at all when we arrived, though a little warmer the next... More

I saw the Living Social deal for Edgewater Resort, and thought it would be perfect for an anniversary trip. I was RIGHT! When we arrived, I was nervous that we wouldn't have a lake view. I'm so thankful I was wrong. We had a great view. The cottage was adorable and clean. The only issue I had with the cottage... More
