Room was clean and staff very courteous. Bed was comfortable. Price was very reasonable. We usually are reluctant to stay in the old style roadside motels but we decided to try Abner's due to other good recommendations. It was a good choice and would consider staying there again if in the area.

We stayed at this motel as part of a 4 couple motorcycle ride. The rooms are clean and a touch dated which adds to the experience. We had the 4 rooms closest to the road as they must of thought we were partiers. They were correct. We pulled chairs outside to drink (warning, dry county) and the owner, Bill, came... More

What a bargain! I can't say enough good things about this place. Kind, friendly people on the phone and in person. Not super fancy but nice, clean rooms with good beds and a small refrigerator and microwave, everything you need. We recently stayed in Las Vegas and there were more nice amenities here at the Abner Motel than in our... More

I had called Litl' Abners first because I had stayed there this summer. They were completely filled for the weekend of Oct 16th and suggested I call Abners because they still had rooms. Abners staff is just as nice and helpful. The room is not fancy as you would find in well known named hotels but you also do not... More

I can't say enough how great this American staffed Hotel is. I stayed 2 night (Oct 17-18) The rooms are so clean! The staff is great to offer you things you may need or recommend places to see. I would recommend to others as well as plan another stay myself.

Stayed here 2 nights with my dogs. Small independent motel with large rooms with microwave & small refrigerator. Convenient to stores and Parkway to Red River Gorge. Prices run $50-$70 depending on # of beds with free wi-fi.

Surprisingly nice rooms for the money, very clean and contained a refrigerator, full size kitchen sink, and microwave. Would be great if you're in the area for an extended visit, though we were only there two nights. About 15 minutes from the Kentucky Reptile Zoo and Natural Bridge park if you're into hiking and rock climbing. Will definitely stay there... More

Stayed here with 20 other motorcyclists. Rooms are simple and very clean with everything working perfectly. It appears they keep up with every maintenance issue. Free coffee (no breakfast). We reserved 2 nights, but coulddn't stay 2nd night. They pleasantly refunded us the 2nd night. Not a resort, but a great place to stay. We'll return.

Since I was working 0.2mi from this location I was thrilled. At check-in I was presented with too many different types rooms and prices. However, I was able to get the type room I wanted at a very reasonable price. The clerk said my room had a new mattress and springs, I think they are I in the process of... More
