The room was clean but dated. I thought we would have a good view of the river from the balcony but all you could see was the tops of trees. The people working there were very helpful and polite. The pool was nice but you do have to walk down about 80 steps to get there unless you want to... More

Pros: 1) Hiking trails right off of the parking lot. It's only 0.5 miles to hike to Natural Bridge, but you can take longer hikes as well. Truly beautiful. 2) Each room has a private deck with lovely views. 3) This place is quiet, unless your neighbors happen to be loud. I slept with the door to my deck open... More

We stayed here for one night at the end of June - Fireflies everywhere, it was magical. Pitch was average, bathroom was clean and functional. Site itself was only half full so relatively quiet. Enjoyed visiting the natural bridge via the ski-lift - terrifying but you've got to do it if you're visiting!

Stayed a couple nights at the resort. Rooms were nice with beautiful overlooks. Nothing special, but nothing poor either. Only had breakfast at the lodge and it was a buffet...pretty good for the price. Pool was nice. The views were spectacular and the various (relatively short) trails were great. My wife and I hiked 5 of the trails in a... More

While planning our family vacation in KY we decided we wanted to stay one night at a state park so we could do some hiking. We chose well with this park. We ended up arriving later than originally planned. The staff at the front desk were helpful and pleasant with hiking recommendations and accommodating our late check out request. We... More

In the heart of a great touristic area. It is a good location if looking for a packaged experience for friends and family. The natural bridge hike is beautiful and rich in fantastic scenery! In brief, it is worth adding to your tourism-bucket list.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting the area. It is a very pretty area to stay in. Be aware though that there is not much for dining options in this area. The hotel has a restaurant with a buffet but it seemed a little pricey. No free breakfast but the restaurant is open, but again pricey. We ended... More

After talking to some hikers, I discovered that there is an escapist theme they shared because they wanted to step away from their busy city lives. This natural bridge is the perfect getaway with family and friends. The hike has scenic value and once you get to the of the bridge, you will not want to leave. It is a... More

We happy campers were greeted by a torrential downpour, flooding and darkness, but were able to set up camp and work it out. We stayed in the Whittleton Loop and spied several enticing campsites. Some lots offered elevated gravel areas for your tent, others double sized lots, some next to a creek. Two trail heads leave this loop and we... More

I have been traveling to Natural Bridge for many years. It is one of the excellent Kentucky state parks. The key attraction is a large natural sandstone arch which is located a short but steep hike from the Hemlock lodge. There are many miles of hiking trails through beautiful Kentucky forests. The park also has a lake for non-motorized boats,... More
