Stayed here Monday night. It was TERRIBLE - We asked to be put near the pool so we could go swimming easily. The desk clerk took the payment, waited 30 minutes until we were unpacking, and THEN told us the pool hadn't been inspected so it would be closed. Like she couldn't have told us at the FRONT DESK? Also,... more

I've stayed in worse. There were no bugs, it was relatively quiet, my car did not get broken into, and the bed was comfortable. However, it wasn't very clean - my first impression was walking up a stairwell that looked as if it hadn't been cleaned for weeks, with mud and trash littering the steps. The room, once we got... more

My husband and I booked this hotel due to the location. We were spending time in Lexington but were also doing some traveling in the Richmond area. When arriving to the hotel, you have to drive through the Waffle House parking lot. Hotel was very run down looking from the outside. The guy at the front desk barely spoke any... more

I've stayed at this motel twice, on this date and in April of this year. If you get placed in the back portion of the motel, it is worse than the front(where I am this time). The wifi doesn't work in the back, but does fine in the front. The motel is just plain worn out, although the management does... more

As we approached our room in the back, we saw what we assumed were residents of the hotel, 6 or more men drinking on the 2nd floor balcony, with loud music playing and the chairs from the room out on the balcony. They all turned and watched us as we entered our room which was only a few down from... more

We were on our way to Branson for vacation and needed to stop half way. We should have kept driving because this place was the absolute pits. We were in the back part of the hotel, where we had to pass I would assume regular residents of the hotel who had their doors open, music blaring and a cookout going.... more

I booked here based on previous reviews as a place to sleep on the way to the Smoky Mountains from the Chicago area. I didn't like this place. It couldn't be accessed from the highway. You had to go through a gas station to reach it or around in back through parking lots, but that is a minor problem. The... more

My mother and I had the displeasure of staying here on our way to Florida. The only reason we stopped was because it was late and we just needed somewhere to sleep. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable, and we only had one pillow on each of our beds. The tv had been unplugged for some unknown reason. This... more

Overall, you get about what you pay for. The room we had was average, the service was above average, and the hotel was not very busy. It's in a safe location, centrally located to most everything you would want to do in Richmond. No pool however. It was worth the $45 a night we spent (family of 5). more
