I was here for a conference and decided to give the park's lodge a try. First off, if you're not a nature fan, you're likely not looking to stay here, so I'll limit my review to the appropriate audience. There are tons of nature trails and the scenery is beautiful. If you're into hiking, this is a great place; if... More

If you are coming to east Kentucky, Pikeville or Prestonsburg area, try Jenny Wiley. The restaurant is very good for country cooking. The rooms are clean and the wifi is ok. If all you plan on doing is catching some sleep and maybe dinner or breakfast, try it. The cost of a room is about half the cost if anything... More

Clean rooms, nice view and quiet. They have a nice restaurant in the lodge and the breakfast was fantastic. There are plenty of areas to sit and enjoy the lake and scenery. There are nice handicap equipped rooms and ramps but no elevator for the second floor.

I've stayed at most of the KY resort parks. Jenny Wiley has the only one-bedroom cabins, pet friendly, so I wanted to try them. With the $25 pet fee, one night costs almost $150. Turns out the cabins are up off the main road with a steep hill behind them, so there is no place to go for a walk... More

We stayed in a second floor room in the lodge with a view toward the lake. We have stayed here other years for the same reunion, and it is a beautiful location. I always enjoy the covered balconies and views. Our room this trip had a king bed, new TV, mini fridge, hair dryer, and nice bedding. Staff was friendly... More

We stayed here to see the summer theatre production housed at the park for the last 50 years. The park lodge was built in 1962 about the same time as the mountain parkway but it has had updates. The lobby is large with tall ceilings and has a sitting area and large screen tv. There is wifi and AT&T cell... More

Recently I had a meeting at the Jenny Wiley State Resort Park and stayed in a room at the May Lodge. I was quite pleased with the lovely accommodations. The bed was absolutely and fabulously comfy - as were the pillows. The room and bedding were clean, with no visible stains on the carpet. I stayed on the second floor... More

I have lived in Kentucky most my life and have NEVER stayed at state resort park, however I have visited EVERYONE. Jenny Wiley, Greenbo Lake, Buckhorn Lake, Dalehollow and Cumberland Falls state resort parks rank among my favorite ones to visit. But ALL the resort parks have amazing food and GREAT VIEWS and some have very scenic drives. I usually... More

We just returned from an overnight stay at Jenny Wiley State Resort Lodge. The lodge was nice but the room smelled pretty musty when we first opened it up. The staff was very helpful and the grounds and pool area were well maintained. The food was very good in the restaurant. We walked on two long, pretty well maintained trails... More

I read a lot of reviews and had mixed feelings about what was expected. I needed lodging anywhere between Pikeville to Prestonsburg and found prices prohibitive on my per diem. My rating is based on what I received for the price I paid. I stayed in the Lodge and will say the rooms need some updating. However, my room was... More
