Our room was old, musty, and lacking. The food was good and the lodge is nice, but we stayed in a first floor room with exterior entry and it was no where near what we expected after staying at Cumberland Falls. If you don't plan to spend time in the room, you will enjoy the nature. I went there on... More

Thought we'd never get ourselves up the seemingly long winding road, but what a treasure awaited us! The snow-laden trees were gorgeous, and the photo says it all; we loved our rustic cabin. It was secluded yet close to the lodge, extremely clean, well-appointed, a great fireplace, and all the amenities for a great stay. Loved that our black lab... More

To say we were a bit disappointed coming in, was an understatement. We checked in on Thursday to a very friendly lodge clerk, and even had a pleasant dinner at the lodge that evening. Looking forward to the nature center, naturalist services, and hiking the following day. However, there were no naturalist, no nature center (in fact it has been... More

We stopped here on our way home, mainly to scout the lodge for a possible return trip and overnight stay. The lodge was attractive from the outside, so we ventured inside to check it out. We ended up eating in their dining room. Great views of the mountains from there. The food was really good. I had the Kentucky Hot... More

We were unable to get a room at the lodge a month ahead of time, so stayed in the only other one-bedroom accommodation - a rustic cabin. The lodge looks nice, but I did NOT like the rustic cabins. They were quiet and roomy with a nice fireplace, decent refrigerator, stove and microwave, but were the darkest place I’ve ever... More

Thank you for leaving feedback regarding your stay at Pine Mountain. We usually fill up pretty fast this time of the year, especially on the weekends but we take reservations up to three years in advance. The one bedroom log cabins aren't for everyone. I would be happy to recommend a room in the lodge or a 2bedroom cottage for... More

Let's start with the resort's restaurant, Mountain View. The view is breathtaking. An uninterrupted series of tree clad hills/mountains. In the morning the valleys' are bathed in mist; at night, the sun set colored the setting. And, a key point, the restaurant has a very good menu. The pdf on the website does not include the specialties of the chef:... More

These are very nice but they need updating. We have stayed in this Cottage for a total of 2 weeks this year. We turned off the AC one day and the carpet started to buckle in 3 spots the whole length of the carpet. Several people kept tripping, so we turned the AC back on and that helped . My... More

This was my first stay at Pine Mountain State Park, although I had been in the area several times. My husband and I just needed a few days away from everything and were lucky enough that they had a pet-friendly rustic cabin for the three nights we were interested in. It rained two of those days, but we didn't really... More

Thanks for reviewing us on trip advisor. I am glad you enjoyed your stay despite the weather. It is unfortunate that you had a leak in the cabin you were staying in. I just wanted to let you know that we have a construction crew here right now repairing it. We do offer cottages that have a more modern feel... More

We stayed in a Lodge room with 2 double beds. The room also had a nice balcony overlooking the mountains, from which we were able to see wildlife, including a chipmunk and a goldfinch. There was a coffee maker in the room. The TV was not a flat screen and reception was not the best, but if you grew up... More

My husband and I recently stayed at the Pine Mountain State Park for a quick getaway. We enjoy staying at KY state parks and had not tried Pine Mountain. It was really lovely. Thank You for posting a review about us on Trip Advisor. I am glad that you found our accommodations to your liking. We are scheduled to upgrade a lot our amenities this winter.
