I only give it two stars because of the serenity, view, and solitude. We stayed in cabin 223. The bedding was scratchy and the cabin smelled like your great grandmothers house. The bathroom door latch was broke so the door wouldn't even close all the way. The gas log fireplace was broken, too. I did call the front desk to... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about Pine Mountain State Resort Park. We Value ourselves on good customer service and our natural beauty. I am sorry you had a bad experience while staying in the 1-bedroom rustic log cabin. We have already fixed the pilot light that was out on the fireplace and maintenance is working... More

The lodge is pretty nice, some of the rooms are run down and we had to get our refrigerator replaced because the one we had when we first got their was not working..It's very quiet and isolated in the mountains..The scenery in the spring and fall is just breathtaking, but besides hiking and golf there is not that much to... I was there in late September and I really enjoyed my stay there. It was quiet, peaceful and pretty isolated in terms of location. And it was up there in the mountain so the night got bit on the chilly side. This place got both hotel rooms and cottages. The cottages remind me of those at Natural Bridge State Park.... More

We visited the park and stayed for 5 days beginning August 24, 2013. It was a restful, beautiful, peaceful quiet time with just the hint of the beginning of fall in the air. First, the park is located in a lovely rural mountainous area. One is surrounded by nature, wildlife and God's unspoiled beauty. A sense of peace comes over... More

KY State Park resorts rock! Private balcony overloking the Cumberland Mtns. Great hiking trails for $80/night...what's there not to like? Stayed here en route to Asheville, NC. weather was cold, so rather than golf, we hiked the Chained Rock trail and discovered outstanding views. The restaurant serves up good food and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Would like to... More

I've heard time and time again that Ky. State Parks are beautiful and worth the visit. Definitely true with Pine Mountain State Park. We chose a cabin over the lodge and it was wonderful. Clean, private, modernized and comfortable. We enjoyed the porch, them as the temperatures dropped moved inside to sit in front of the warm fireplace. A log... More

Very nice State Park lodge with the most beautiful views in Kentucky (my home state!)!! This lodge is my favorite of the many we have visited over the years. Stunning views and lovely trails to hike. Don't miss the Chained Rock! A unique experience.

We have enjoyed the Ky State Park resorts for many years and are sad to see that they are suffering from a bit of neglect. While the grounds were well maintained and the rooms were clean they could certainly use an update. The pillows, comforters and blankets could all use a refresh and the mattresses have seen better days. As... More

Pine Mountain State Park Lodge is located in the mountains of Appalachia. The park boasts some of the most beautiful vistas in the Commonwealth. The lodge meeting facilities are very nice and feature dozens of rare Ray Harm (a famous Kentucky artist) prints. The room was very clean and offered a great view of the mountains. Each room has a... Beautiful state park, we stayed in a two bedroom cabin with friends. Cabin nice although stark, need some homey touches, but was very comfy and well stocked. The main lodge although beautiful, appears to be deteriorating, but very clean. Grounds were beautiful. Lodge Needs some TLC. Staff was wonderful, gentleman at front desk, gave us a lot if information on... More
