It seems that some of the reviews on this site were posted before the hotel changed management and was fully renovated a year ago. We drove around Pikeville looking for a place and the Landmark looked attractive and was in a good location not too close to the highway so it was quiet there. The rooms are newly renovated, nicely... More

We stayed June 2, 3, and 4th, 2014. The first room we had, the water ran continuously in the toilet. We had to move to another room. The second room we were in did not have a microwave, enough toilet paper, or towels for 4 people. We requested these times several times. At one point my sister got a roll... More

I arrived to the hotel , and was checked in a room that was already occupied. I was promised a room due to the last bad experience I had at this place, and here we go again. After getting my key and going to my room , I found someone sitting at the table eating their lunch. I apologized to... More

The Landmark Inn needs some updating but my room was clean and had a microwave and fridge. The front desk lady was very helpful and made sure I had a quite room. I've noticed several folks commenting on being overcharged. I wasn't over charged but they billed my credit card three weeks before I got here for a quick over... More

No tv in the room. Reported this to front desk. The following Monday my account was debited for approx $400. They charged me for a tv that was stolen by the prior patron. Customer service was absolutely terrible. Didn't offer to remedy their mess up at all. Room was filthy to boot. There were ribbons of black mold in the... More

We stayed at the landmark inn for a month. So we saw and heard a lot. The night we checked in there were drunks all in the parking lot- that were loud and cussing. They were coming from the bar right behind the hotel. We checked in and liked that the rooms were pretty large- but they needed lots of... More

Spent a weekend in Pikeville to meet some friends and given the limited options for affordable lodging in town, plus some bad reports I'd heard about the Riverside Motel, I opted for the Landmark again, since I wasn't sure if the Brookshire had refrigerators in the rooms. I ended up across the hall from the room I'd had the first... More

We were looking forward to staying in the area, but were very disappointed in our room at the Landmark Inn. The comforters on both of the beds were both torn and stained. There were several hairs throughout the bathroom, just making it feel like it hadn't been cleaned. The desk chair was just filthy. We were only give 2 bath... More
