The Pikeville Historic Mansion is wonderful place to experience. It is affiliated with the Hampton Inn which I have stayed at before. The room we stayed in was newly decorated and very cozy. The bed was wonderfuly comfortable and was cold when we arrived but we turned on the heater, went to eat and upon our return was just right.... More

Perfect place to relax, lots of space, extra living room, coffee, cookies and soda available, total privacy as separated from near-by Hampton hotel; place with a nice historic touch, good to start to explore the Hatfield - McCoy feud; The mansion is a pearl in Pikeville

Stayed one night while returning home from a motorcycle trip in NC and TN. The property is impeccably maintained furnished. Tons of character but all the amenities you'd expect if staying in a "modern" hotel. The proprietor (Barbara) was just as charming as the inn. One thing to be aware of is the breakfast is at the Hampton Inn (next... More

We just returned from our stay at this B&B and found it to be very charming, comfortable, and relaxing. The rooms are very spacious and clean, beds are comfortable, and the bathroom is modern. We stayed in the Campbell room which is not inside the house but like a room attached to the side of the house which made it... More

We paid $130 for the deluxe room with character, while the Hampton Inn next door was $134 for a boring room. We stayed in the Pikeville Historic Mansion during February 2013 and had our choice of any of the seven rooms. We choose the Dils Room, yet all the rooms are very nice, roomy, have a full bathroom, have fireplaces,... More

It is called a B&B but is different than most in that the breakfast is at the Hampton Inn next door (same owners) so nothing special. Best to eat elsewhere if you like a good breakfast.. There also isn't a family living at and running the B&B which seemed strange. I think we were the only ones there the weekend... More

The Historic Mansion is the kind of B&B that travelers dream of. It has been beautifully restored and the furnishings are tasteful and comfortable. Each room is prettier than the next and impecibly clean. Prices are reasonable. The owner and caretaker are lovely, friendly, people and very helpful; they strive to make your stay a memorable one. They also own... More

Stayed here over the Memorial Day weekend with family. We were all impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms. This is a hidden gem. We would never have found this if the other hotels in town were not full. While everything in the house had that "historic" feel, it looked very fresh. The stairs did not even creak. The porch...
