Since my last review I have received an email saying the Miranda no longer does B&B at the Manor House in Rodbourne. Thats such a shame because it was a wonderfully tranquil place to stay in wonderful surroundings with a charming host.. Our best wishes to Miranda and her family.

What can we say, stayed here for two nights with friends. This is Miranda and husband's family home with portraits of ancestors around and about, including a king?Brilliant location and house, excellent rooms, breakfasts and service. Miranda will recommend local pub for evening meals which was very good.If there is royalty in the background,Miranda will be queen of Bed and Breakfasts.wonderful hostess.

Amazing place full of charterer. Lovely breakfast everything you could wish for. Our room was spotless with all comforts. It was home from home! Great comfy bed & plenty of pillows .Miranda is a delight, very friendly and welcoming. We would highly recommend & will defiantly be back. We found The Manor House via the Internet as we were looking for somewhere to stay before taking part in the 2012 Ride Of Respect. The booking process was simple and communication was excellent. Upon arrival we were were met by the owner Mirander. She showed us to our room and then served tea in the drawing room. We stayed... More

Arrived at this stunning property and was greeted by a Miranda offering tea or coffee. We had asked if we could check in early as we had a lunch-time wedding which Miranda had gratefully organised. A fantastic house set in fabulous grounds with a real homely feel. Rooms were clean and full of character with a fantastic shower in the... More

On arrival at Rodbourne Manor, we were warmly greeted by our hostess Miranda, and two very inquisitive and very friendly black labs. Their tails never stopped wagging in the three days we were there! Tea and coffee was on offer as we unpacked the cars and was most welcome after our three and a half hour drive from Preston. The... More

We arrived at the most beautiful house and were warmly welcomed by Miranda offering tea and cakes! Our weekend was off to the perfect start. Rooms gorgeous, clean and wonderfully comfortable beds (so important). A real family home that exudes history, we wouldn't hesitate to return to or recommend the Manor House.

The preliminary visit in July to check the rooms out convinced us that we wanted to stay here "come what may" at the beginning of August to get married in Crudwell. Nowhere else could have pleased us more! Miranda is simply a wonderful hostess. A fund of knowledge, a super cook, a calming angel and a very supportive hostess. Her... More

The Manor House is something special. Miranda being attentive, hospitable and above all friendly definitely made the short break that I took there with my sister, her cocker spaniel, and our elderly parents. Our stay was just what you want when you go away from home - something better than being at home. The breakfasts - well, the eggs from... More

Calling The Manor a 'Farmhouse B&B' doesn't in any way describe the beautifully renovated farmhouse, the comfy drawing room, the fabulous breakfasts or the wonderful greeting we received as we arrived from both the hostess - Miranda - and the two black labs on the huge lawn. Many period features such as the flagstone floors have been retained, whilst other... More
